Is getting closer.

I've had leave from work approved for the 1st and 2nd Dec as the game is televised here live (NZ) on the Tuesday and will kick off @ 2pm, thought I might as well make it a 4 day weekend.

So, to make experience authentic, what's some football / tailgating recipes you guys would suggest for game day? I'm keen to put a big spread on.

And what beer do ya'll drink? My local supermarket stocks Miller Draft, which I'm pretty keen on, and Budweiser.

Very excited to watch my first live Texans game (excluding the live internet feeds :))

Those are two good choices of beer for football. Miller Lite is the "official beer of the Texans" but Bud is widely popular as well.

Can't go wrong with some type of bbq and maybe chips while the meats cooking. Sounds like you'll have a blast!
 
yeah, i get some funny looks when i give the reason why i'm taking time off work (do it before for some playoff games) - but there is no way i can work knowing the game is on live.

i'll bring out the bbq for sure.
