Nice draft.

I traded completely out of the 1st round but added lots of picks, starters and great depth. Just revamped the whole team and saved us lots of money in the process. I added great depth to the O-line and LB corp..

Wolf! Derek Carr?!?!

Yes. I knew it wouldn't be a popular pick in Houston but getting a 1st round QB in the 2nd round I thought was pretty good value. Also many fans jersey's would be relevant again if he wears #8. (Said with lots of sarcasm) It would only take a couple good games by Derek for fans to get over the namesake. Fans forget quick if a guy plays well.

I am not sure that Carr is a 1st round talent that is my main issue I guess.

I hope the real draft is like this, but not likely. St. Louis offers 1.2 and 1.13 for 1.1. Then they take Jake Matthews. Giving up pick 13 to pick the second best guy at his position? Doubtful. Also doubt Nix and Mosley are available in 2nd round.

Some of these are pretty out there. I ran one where Cleveland gave us 1.4, 1.26, and 2.3 to move up to 1.1 and take Gabe Jackson. Not only is he a guard, he's not even the top ranked one.

They gave me a B+ for future draft picks. WTF? I got Buffalo's 1st next year, that should be an A. Nobody even offers future firsts after about the first 15 picks.

It's tough to draft in the 7th round though, I really didn't know what other holes to fill after about the 5th. I just kept picking for depth, but there are just too many picks sometimes...

I'm still all in on TB in the first. Seems like his stock is falling so traded down and got him at 1:4.

This is a draft junkie's fix isn't. Really good job! Would take this for sure but know its based off ridiculous draft grades. But if you play a couple times it makes easier to score high unless just stuck on players then come back later & those change too. My guess is they lag behind a few days, like it matters, but in this crazy cyber world it does.

Clowney #1 seems spot on
Fuller would replace KJ if they cannot resign him or JJ. Great corner prospect.
Martin is a player that solidifies interior OL while Bitonio gives us a mauler.
Barrow is very athletic, fills need.
Reid does not fit Crennel scheme but like player.
Storm is a sleeper, replaces Tate without breaking a sweat.
Love Murray. Great family, productive reminds me of Drew Brees.
Ryan is BB favorite run plugger.
Colt is an enigma. Super talent but easily broken, imagine him with money & how he would use it?
Mr irrelevant a FB from Marshall. I really like that program & would root hard for him to make it.

It is pre-draft crack really. Wasted too much time on there.

Hoskins is listed as a TE on some sites. Really that versatile H-back mold that can do it all. Could be a real tool in OB's toolbox.

So true. But it finally paid off. I won the draft. What do you guys think?
Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 24 (CINN): Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina (A)
-A huge offensive weapon that fits into the Patriots style 2 tight end sets. Is more of a receiving tight end right now, but has the ability to block and is a huge match up nightmare. Also he's amazing value at 24.

Round 2 Pick 1: Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio State (B+)
- Help shore up the OLB position. He should be able to rush the passer from the edge in a 3-4.

Round 2 Pick 3 (CLE): Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State (A)
- I don't want to bring in David, but if Derek commits to the game I think he can be great. USC was ugly, but I think that was a team thing. Fresno State got out played at every position.

Round 2 Pick 23 (CINN): Morgan Moses, OT, Virginia (A)
- Available this late? No brainer.

Round 3 Pick 1: Chris Borland, ILB, Wisconsin (B+)
- Short arms are his down side, but he has the burst and instincts to play next to Cush.

Round 3 Pick 24 (CINN): Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss (A)
- Stud WR who is great value at this point. Right now I think we have 3 WRs on the roster, Dre, Hopkins and Posey who I still think can contribute. Let's get an eventual Dre replacement here.

Round 4 Pick 1: Keith McGill, CB, Utah (A)
- Solid corner. Should be able to get in quickly.

Round 4 Pick 35 (COMP): Ahmad Dixon, SS, Baylor (A)
- Cut Keo. Completely new Safety core minus Jungle Boi

Round 5 Pick 1: Brent Urban, DE, Virginia (B)
- I think he'd be a great RE in RAC's system. He can eat a double team and still make plays on a run play. Needs to become more polished and work on pass rush.

Round 6 Pick 1: Justin Ellis, DT, Louisiana Tech (A)
- Eat up space in the middle. Should develop into a solid starter.

Round 6 Pick 5: Storm Johnson, RB, UCF (A)
- How can you not be good with a name like Storm?

Round 6 Pick 35 (COMP): Anthony Fera, K, Texas (A)
- Bullock is GONE BABY GONE!

Round 7 Pick 1: Trey Millard, FB, Oklahoma (B+)
- Let's get some young and versatile. Can run, catch, and block. Not too worried about the ACL.

Round 7 Pick 41 (COMP): Walt Aikens, CB, Liberty (A)
- Mr. Irrelevant is likely eventually a big contributor? I'll take it! JJo only has so many years left. I see a future core of Kareem, Aikens and McGill.

Your Future Picks:
2015 Round 1 Pick (CINN)
2015 Round 1 Pick

Nice draft.

Have concerns about Carr in regards to pressure

Yeah, I do a bit as well. But Greg Gabriel actually has him as his number one QB right now and this is what he has to say:

1) Derek Carr – Fresno

Carr is the most NFL ready quarterback in this class. While he played in an up-tempo spread offense at Fresno, he showed at the Senior Bowl that he could play from under center in an NFL-style scheme.
At 6023 – 214, Carr has good NFL size. He has the foot speed and quickness to move around in the pocket and create plays with his feet. He has very good arm strength, throws a tight ball, and his short and deep accuracy is as good as any in the draft.

Those critical of Carr, don’t feel he handles pressure well. While I agree that happened in the USC game, I also feel that it was a Fresno problem not a Carr problem. USC was the far superior team that day.
More than any other quarterback in this draft Carr has the “it” factor that is needed to succeed in the NFL. He is a strong leader with a strong passion for the game and has already overcome adversity in his life. I have less concern about his game compared to the other four quarterbacks. He has the talent and desire to lead his team to the playoffs on a consistent basis.

Sneaky. Snatch up all the Punters and Kickers early so that the teams that need them won't have them, thus winning the field position battle. Also you'd force the other teams to over spend on expensive FA Punters and Kickers so they have less money to spend elsewhere on the team. Clever idea.
