MNF: Texans vs Jags Gameday Thread!!!

i think that if mario and the rest of our D can get the momentum moving in our direction early, the jags haven't a chance. we also have to remember that football means playing hard for FOUR quarters.

Got some ribeyes marinating over night with stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon to cook as soon as I get home from work......can't wait for the game.

Best case scenario is Sage for 3 quarters, then Schaub in the 4th. I'm getting to the point where I say we just remove the qb entirely when in the red zone. Go max protect and use 2 RB's and pray. It can't be any worse than what we are getting.

I bought a new 1080p HDTV and wall mount for my bedroom. I told my boss that I'm walking out the door at 5pm. I have two and a half Coors Light 18 pack of vented tall-boys in the beverage cooler. I've got two sirloins marinating and I've got some ground beef for burgers. (I can't decide what meat I want tonight, though I did sucker the g/f into watching the game with me even after she vowed never to watch football with me again - I get passionate)
 
Question? Is this the 1st Monday Night game in Houston? You guys will beat the Jags....but I doubt a slaughter? But who knows? Good luck and no injuries...please, especially the OF line!!!
 
I can't help but be pessimistic. Schaub played a near perfect game with 3 TDs and 0 INTs, and we still lost. Does anybody really see Sage going 3-0?

Still, mayby the defense gets fired up and holds the Jags under 20.

20th ranked def v. their 22nd ranked offense.... hmmm...
4th ranked offense v their 14th ranked defense.

I think it's gonna have to be our offense to carry us in this game and defense to make a showing.

There were a couple of sports writer predicting the Texans to be a wild card this year. But, the Texans just don't have the debth to overcome injuries. Last year Rosenfails did a good job stepping in for Schaub, this year he's horrible. Just horrible.

I think the Texans win tonight just because it's their first time on MNF and they are wearing the battle red uniforms. But, never underestimate Rosencopter to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Well, I'm pumped for the first MNF game ever for the Texans. And...it's actually on TV over here. Unfortunately it'll start not until 2:30 am here, and I have to get up early tomorrow. So I don'T know if I'll be able to watch the whole game. Either way GO TEXANS, let's go undefeated on MNF!!!

I'm 50-points away from victory in this week's fantasy football matchup. My opponent has nobody playing tonight...but I have MJD, Slaton, OD and Kris Brown.

OD has been absent a little, lately.

We're going to win this game. It's in our house, MNF, the Jags are deflated, and we are wearing Battle Red. Gonna' be a good old fashioned country ass-whupping is what it'll be.

I know there's rivalry among the other two teams in our division...but I freaking LOVE beating the Jags. I would love to see some of our guys lay some wood on the Jags for those blatant cheap shots they always give us. I bet Dunta is revved up.

hahah its true houston is a very normal city there is not much 2 do other then the usual stuff

but we cant be worse then lame CLE detriot and even kanas city
 
I'm looking forward to the better camera work, rather than the vanilla stuff we normally get on the 12:00 games.
