Michael Bush

ive heard good talk about him but i know he got injured the first game this past year is he coming out or staying in for one more year????? and if he comes out will he drop back because of the injury????????????????????????

Due to his injury, it appears he is applying for a medical redshirt so he can play 1 more year at Louisville. He was the #1 Heisman candidate at the beginning of the season. If he does come out he likely will be a LATE 1st RD or 2nd RD pick.

I watched 3 games of Louisvilles during the season. 1 he got injured. Then in one of the other two the camera focused in on him talking to the offense. The said how big of a leade he was for that team and how he could motivate them really well.

I liked the fact that he was a leader. Even though he was injured, he was more pumped up about the game and excited than any of the other players.

All I know is that break was ugly. Joe Theisman ugly. I will be glad to see him run some before he is drafted. Is was not a blazer before the injury, so I will interested in seeing if he was able to maintain he quickness. He was more of a real good big back, much like Dayne but a little better speed.

Kinda makes you wonder were DD was this year.

I think DD knows he's probably done for good. He's wanting to get out while he can definitely still walk.

Michael Bush was the #2 RB in the draft IMO. Peterson has been the best RB in his class since his FR year, but M. Bush has very good speed and vision for his size. He is a bruising back with good speed.

no, not really.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville Heisman Trophy and All-America candidate Michael Bush suffered a broken right leg Sunday night early in the third quarter in the Cardinals' game against Kentucky, an injury that will end his season.

He was also widely considered to be a preseason leading candidate for the 2006 Heisman Trophy.[1]

Maybe you don't think so, but others do.

Well the local press might have been beating his drum. I don't think anyone else was seriosly considering him as the Heisman winner. If he could of competed the whole year who knows ? But you're correct I'm sure everyone in Kentucky had him marked for the honor. Just like everyone in Arkansas had McFaddin winning it....Ray Rice in New Jersey, Colt in Texas , Colt in Haw'wi...

c'mon now, adrian peterson, brady quinn and troy smith were way ahead of everyone else to start the season. bush was there, but so was brian brohm.

You make a good point but those stories come from ESPN, not the locals.
