Michigan St. 6'3" 245 pound ILB was suspended for the Rose bowl game for violating unspecified team rules. 3 year starter and team captain at MLB, he is a down field tackler known for hitting ability. No arrests noted but he was arrested in 2011 as minor in possession of alcohol and eluding police. He has 76 tackles with 9.5 for loss. Ranked as a 5th rounder I expected him to go 4-5th. If this was alcohol related he probably will drop.

I've heard many rumors that he is quite fond of the drink. Nothing official though. Must have been something serious to put him out of the Rose Bowl.

As beerlover he has my condolences & now, can mock him to Texans 6th rd. plus save him some embarrassment when Stanford runs it down the gut & control the clock with their power running game. Expect Gaffney to have a big day & Rose Bowl MVP.
