Is the 'Madden view' a changeup or the future of football broadcasting?

Is this the view of the future in football broadcasting?
Is it just a niche wave of uber-informed fan who tries to get his hands of all-22?
Is it too much a stray from the norm and no one wants pigskin vertigo?
Prefer a mix of traditional view and skycam to capture as rich an experience as possible?

Wtf do you really think about the new use of the cam that covered much of this TNF game?

I though it was cool. When I had season tickets, it was always in the 5th level end zone because I like that view of the game. Probably because of playing Madden for so many years.

You see the play in full from this view, the traditional view you see the scrimmage, then when the QB throws the ball you have to wait for the next shot to have a clue what's going on down field. You never really know what the receiver/CB battle is, you don't see if the QB has missed an open receiver, you just miss a whole load of the game basically.

I'd happily take this view as the default all game every game personally.

Same here. I'll take my upper end zone seats over a sideline view all day.
