Keep it Movin!
He didn't hire Kelley, Caserio made him keep Kelley and picked the entire staff. So why wouldn't Caserio fire the coach he hired? Why would he not fire somebody he did not hire? That doesn't make sense to me.

Black coaches always get the worse jobs unless you're Mike Tomlin
nope
Dungy did too, but check the recent history and this is a known fact. The chances that most minority coaches get are crap, desolate situations and they get canned with the quickness. That's why they call it a black job in some of these openings. Its just what it is. For the record, I never thought Lovie or Culley should've been hired.Bowles got a pretty good gig.
Actually I think it's #33 with Miami losing a pick.5 picks in the top 74 including #2 and #12 and #34
I guess I am too tired to understand what you say.He didn't hire Kelley, Caserio made him keep Kelley and picked the entire staff. So why wouldn't Caserio fire the coach he hired?

In my opinion, just me, I don't want a defensive oriented head coach. If I would consider a coach from the defensive side of the ball, it would be Ryans because I'm pretty certain he's going to bring someone off that Shannahan/Kubiak tree which has been proven to have offensive success. Not only that, he's dealt with this organization before. As stated before, Caserio is the 1st gm in the history of the nfl to choose 3 coaches after screwing up the 1st 2 after 1 year. Where they do that at.Care to elaborate?

The 33rd selection but still called #34... the second pick of round 2Actually I think it's #33 with Miami losing a pick.
Did you know McDaniels was a minority before you heard SF was getting compensation?I can see this.
Just want to add McDaniel down in Miami got a pretty good gig too.
Culley/Lovie were bridge HC's, whether we agree with going that route or not.

Ryans was a great leader and person as a Texan. The field was trash, and the Texans changed it. The amount Ryans sued for ($10 million) is nothing for the McNairs. And the Texans have to realize what a major public relations coup hiring the former Texan would be. This narrative seems totally overblown. Not to mention, Ian Rappaport has already listed Ryans as a potential candidate for the job.and there's no way in hadies Ryans will come to Kirby, nor would the McNair's want him too.
I used to see him when he was with the Texans, I didn't know what he was honestly. I know he had some issues that he obviously overcame off the field and Kyle trusted him alot. All those guys used to run under George Whitfield out in La, McVeigh included.Yes, I saw the interview where McDaniel didn't see what the big deal was about. His dad was an African American and his mom was Caucasian. They were a happy family and he didn't think this was that big of a deal.
After that I did see posters (Not on this site) start to question McDaniel's blackness. Which is sickening. IMHO
I didn't.Did you know McDaniels was a minority before you heard SF was getting compensation?
Demeco would bring soo much energy back into the organization. It would bring soo much air and optimism back into the organization which is needed.Ryans was a great leader and person as a Texan. Isn't Zimmer in CU with Coach Prime?I like Reich as an OC and the work Johnson has done to help Hurts improve has been great stuff. I look at Zimmer in the same light as Wade.
He would be my favorite.Demeco would bring soo much energy back into the organization. It would bring soo much air and optimism back into the organization which is needed.
Because head coach is direct boss? As immediate supervisor my boss told me to fire an underling. If a gm picks the staff, why would he ask the coach to fire someone he didn't have a say so in hiring?
Caserio could've just fired the guy he hired right? Doesn't that make the most sense?Because head coach is direct boss? As immediate supervisor my boss told me to fire an underling.
Some time ago I posted that Sean Payton has lined up Fangio to be his defensive coordinator wherever he ends up. Will be interesting to see as I like Fangio.
He could but chain of command.. a good leader would tell immediate supervisor to do it unless said soop was squeemish.Caserio could've just fired the guy he hired right? Doesn't that make the most sense?
I owned a daycare and had to suspend my sister once and then fire her. I didn't ask the manager to do it, i did because I hired her when I 1st started it, not the manager. I'm not saying the manager wouldn't have done it, but as the owner and the top dog, I wasn't going to have someone do something I knew had to be done for the betterment of the entire business. Caserio is spineless in my opinion and he has shown it many times. Look at how Lovie had to answer questions about the botched Cook trade. Where was Carsterio? Head in the sand and hiding hoping it would go away.He could but chain of command.. a good leader would tell immediate supervisor to do it unless said soop was squeemish.
If I were hired to manage the local Pollos Hermanos & Gus told me to fire the fry cook, I’m going to fire the fry cook, “dude, Gus said get your sht & go. I tried to stick up for you, but he said it’s either you or me & you. So, it’s you.”If a gm picks the staff, why would he ask the coach to fire someone he didn't have a say so in hiring?

Why are you bringing avery into this? Just asking. I never mentioned Avery in any form. I'm simply stating all those young offensive minded guys used to go to his camps and exchange information and thoughts. Maybe Avery was there also, I'm not sure, but Avery had nothing to do with this.Avery is a Whitfield wanna be.
Whitfield was a really good QB coach.

Avery wannabe status in your mind is only because of the Watson connection. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery correct? Maybe Avery saw a guy who looked like him and wanted to do what he was doing. What's wrong with that?I was just pointing out what I perceive to be the differences between the two men and thought you might elaborate since it appears that you know Whitfield. But I guess not.

Says who? He's making a great living coaching soon to be nfl qbs. Is he at the level Whitfield is or was? No, but there were alot of people in nfl circles who didn't think much about what Whitfield was doing early either. He's not doing a very good job of imitating Whitfield. IMHO

Your kidding right? C'mon man, you're better than this.Difference is Avery takes advantage of fatherless poor guys and doesn't really help them improve their game. Whitfield was a great teacher. IMHO

Are we looking for another “bridge” coach, or a real one?
This is one helluva rebuilding program you got going her.I can see this.

“Trust me, we know what we are doing”I dunno Cal let us know
Totally agree, but Culley wanted to keep Kelly.
