Louisville vs. Kentucky (and other week 3 spreads)

What is Vegas thinking? Louisville at -7??? I would have put them at like -22.5 or something. Who doesn't think Bohm can't put up 35 points on Kentucky? I think this is the game I'm putting my big money on this week. Easy money is hard to get, and it doesn't get much easier than this.

I'm also thinking of taking Oklahoma at -40.5 I don't even remember who they are playing, but I'd expect about 65 points from a Stoops team that has no mercy, so I think they can cover that spread.

Oklahoma State is also a team I'll be picking at -10.5 currently. They are facing Troy. Oklahoma State has a top 3 offense in the Big XII, and who the hell plays for Troy?

Florida State is overrated, but they are only -4 over Colorado, so I might take that if I have some money left over.

I'll probably consider Texas Tech over Rice at -28.5 Rice was just handled by the mighty Baylor by close to that spread, so I think Tech can beat that.

Also, since I go to KU right now, I'll put a little down on KU this week. We are -22.5 to Toledo. We haven't won a game this year by any less than 45. The only spread I could find for us last week was -40.5 and I almost took it, and I should have, but that is too much for my to chance Kansas covering.

Those are my picks for the week. About 75% of my money is going to the Louisville game though.

Seems Vegas was a lot closser than you on this one. I was shocked at the outcome, but Kentucky is not as bad as many believe and this is a grudge game, never bet a grudge game.

Of course i never bet.

Yeah, I belived in Woodson, but not enough to beat Louisville like that. Also, I lucked out with the betting. Friday afternoon I had hopped in a car for a roadtrip to the state fair a few hours away. We got a little inhebriated and stayed the night, and barely made it back to pregame and tailgate at the KU game. Basicly, I didn't stop drinking, which meant I didn't have time to lose that money.

fun fact: Syracuse's upset over Louisville is, going by the spread, the largest upset in college football history. bad year for the Cardinals.
