Since we figure that Reggie Bush is going to be our top pick, why do people still want Vince Young?? What would you say if the Texans decided to trade thier first round to the broncos and get their first rounders this year and go for a OLB like Ernie Sims and then shoot for a corner like Tye Hill?? It seems to me that everybody wants another defensive back to replace Phillip Buhcanon... I ask why. Phillip Buhcanon is a good enough player to start all 16 games in the NFL. Sure, he might be a wimp and not want to tackle but all you have to do is make him a better competitor with Dunta Robinson. I would like to see the Texans draft D'Brickashaw Ferguson in the first round to fill our biggest need and then you can start filling the others. If you draft Ferguson you can move Chester Pitts back down to guard...a more natural position for his size. I honestly dont think that our biggest need is at running back, but I know we do need depth incase Domanick Davis gets injured. But with Charlie Casserly still as our general manager, I believe he will draft players that we dont need. He did do a good job of getting some good players like Robinson, Johnson, Mathis and finding Davis in the late rounds. But from the looks of it, it seems that our first five picks would look something like this....

#1 overall - REGGIE BUSH, just because its Reggie Bush

#33 overall - ERIC WINSTON, just to then fill our biggest need, even though we missed out on getting the best tackle the draft has seen in the past few years.

#65 overall - DANIEAL MANNING, just because Casserly doesnt want to get bood at by the fans, and fills a "need" when you hav Robinson, Faggins...

#66 overall - GERRIS WILKINSON, this kid is actually pretty good, he can fill a big need at the linebacker position.

#97 overall - DAVID THOMAS, why not get a young tight end that can eventually replace Putzier??

#161 oveerall - MARK SETTERSTROM, a guard that can add depth to the offensive line and replace Mckinney

#193 overall - GREG THREAT, could be a big steal, we've never really seen his full potential.

let me know what yall think

like the mock-its realistic and fills some needs..dont understand ^^that quote though..

Definitely not a bad mock at all, would not be upset if we ended up with this group of guys. FYI though, Putzier is only 27 years old so I don't know how soon he'd really get replaced by David Thomas.
