This year's winner will be announced at the Rotary Lombardi Award Dinner on Dec. 10 at the Hilton Americas Hotel in Houston. Former Houston Oiler quarterback Oliver Luck, president of Major League Soccer's Houston Dynamo, will be the event's featured speaker. The 39th Rotary Lombardi Award is presented by Wachovia.

You better hope he wins it. It could be the last award he receives before his NFL career goes the way Bobby Carpenters has.... :P

he looks like he's gonna b alright in the nfl.....fast, got a nose for the ball...carpenter wasn't like that he just lived off Hawk's coattails.

it's amazing how much he has suffered this year because of our D Line. Not many people realized the DE across from Gholston stunk so bad. With Gholston gone, our D Line is Texans worthy, and James has not been able to be a fraction of the player he was last year. I still think he's the second best LB in the draft.

Orakpo back in the starting lineup for the Horns today.

EDIT* - Technically not starting. He will only be playing in passing situations today.
