Live Texans discussion on 790 am

Well, they were...... I think they said they'll be discussing more about training camp, etc. For those that can't listen, I'll post any highlights that I hear.

they're talking about reggie bush

I know....I'm like WTF? I went to get me some lunch and they were all Texans talk. I was getting out of the truck and they were talking about upcoming segments, so I posted this link and am streaming it through my laptop. Now, I have to listen through the BS until they give me some worthy texans info. I'm still holding out hope that they will cover some training camp info though.

nothing really of special interest that I havn't already read on the board. Twitter kills the radio jockey. lol

OK, for those that couldn't stream, here's what they said:

David Dalati reported about training camp:

Myers went down wityh ankle during goal line drills, he heard him yell.

Kubiak not happy with practice, said it was sloppy all around. Broadcasters said it could be the guys reacting to 3 straight days of being in pads and plus today being the hottest day of camp so far.

Kyle Shanahan is now the full time play caller. He will be on the sidelines during the game, not in the booth. He noted that Kyle called all of the plays during the last game of the 08 season.

Jaque Reeves went down with a leg injury, but was able to walk it off.

Doing 7 on 7, 11 on 11, and 1 on 1 drills.
During the 11 on 11, a lot of goal line work today, that's when Myers went down.

Jamnes Casey had 2 really good catches, 1 was highlight real worthy....FWIW.
Kyle Shanahan is excited to see Casey in the preseason games.

Arain Foster (sp) gaining attention- looks good in size and mobility, but probably Chris Brown's job to lose as back up.

Conner Barwin was put at right end and Mario at left end when doing the drills with the #1s.

Regarding Arian / Chris Brown - would it not be safe to say that the job is CB's until he gets nicked up (around the last preseason game)?

Where was Antonio Smith when Connor Barwin was in at RDE?

Just said:

Gonna be hard to get Adibi off the field. He's faster & stronger than last year.

Caldwell & Bullman look really good as well.

Bullman is a really good all around player, can play a lot of positions on the D line.

Moats could be in the thick for the fullback race.

I think this might be a typo or a mistake by the person reporting it.

Frank Bush:

Mario- taking his game to a whole other level, looks even better than last year. More mature and finishing plays.

Travis Johnson- will assess him after he heals up. I took it as he will more than likely be cut by listening to Bush's comments. Sounded like they weren't happy with him at all.

Adibi & Diles have a big battle going for LB spot.

Barwin battling really well.

Safety postion has a good battle going on.

Antionio Smith will be a rush tackle when Barwin comes in.
