Late round gems - 2025

LeQuint Allen is a day 3 running back I really like. And it’s for all the reasons except running the ball. I actually am wondering if he ends up being a Wide Receiver long term.

20 years old. 6’ 200 lbs 32” arms 10 1/8” hands. Tall skinny RB, reminds me of Calen Bullock in build. 128 snaps in slot/out wide this past season. 300 touches between rushes/receptions. Extremely physical pass blocker, maybe best in the draft. Great hands/route runner. Again, if not the best pass catching back he’s in that mix. So good you might consider cross training him at WR to fill in if the team is hit by the injury bug again. Gives 4 down value with passing down skillset and ST upside. Dare replacement?

Texans interviewed his OC Jeff Nixon this offseason. I think to pick Nixon’s brain about the unique ways he utilized his player’s skillsets this past season. Will fall to day 3 because he’s not a homerun hitter and doesn’t have the build of a workhorse RB. But he’s gonna find a way to stick around in the league for awhile.

If Caserio cant draft a guy like Brashard Smith then I would love for Allen to be the pick at 5-166 and would probably trade up into the 4th to get him. This guys game reminds me a lot of James White's game.

I would draft Bobby Boucher Jr late. He started as a water boy, but now he is playing LB. And his Momma makes a mean snake dinner.

He is kinda like James White. His injury history worries me. I guess that's why he would be 7th rd pick.

He doesn't have an injury history. He tore a tendon and returned with no issue. He hurt his and and played with a soft cast just to be safe. Neither was considered anything bad. Can't get ride of the highlight, sorry was only supposed to be on the 2 injuries.

Donovan Edwards, a running back for Michigan, has a history of playing through injuries, most notably a partially torn patellar tendon which healed and he returned very quickly. And a sore hand he wore a soft cast on to be safe.

No injury issues listed on his scouting report.
