UCLA -- In three seasons, Justin has established himself as one of the top place kickers in the nation and a candidate for post-season honors ... Entering his senior year, Medlock is already in fourth place (tied) on UCLA's career field goal list with 42 ... Medlock's career percentage of .750 is third among Bruins with at least 21 career field goals ... Ranks eighth on the school's career scoring list with 244 points ... Has also handled the kickoff chores for the past three seasons ... He is the first UCLA player to kick two field goals of at least 50 yards in the same game (at Oregon, 2004) ... He is also the first Bruin to kick three field goals of 50 or more yards in a season (2004 - 52 v. Oklahoma State, 50 at Oregon, 52 at Oregon and 2005 - 51 v. Oklahoma) and the second to kick four field goals of 50 or more yards in a career ... Only John Lee made as many field goals (four) of at least 50 yards in a career ... Against San Diego State in 2004, Medlock set a career high with four field goals (22, 40, 43, 44) on four attempts, the most by a Bruin since Nate Fikse kicked five against Stanford in 2002 ... Enters his senior year with a streak of 84 straight successful PATs (last 34 of 2004 and all 50 last season) and is 118 of 119 for his career.
I know he has had some problems in the past with driving under the influeince in 2005.

Is he the guy that left his girlfriend in the car...after an accident?

The kicker from Wake Forest is Sam Swank and he is only a sophomore, so he has a couple years left before he goes pro. He has a great leg, and has made more kicks over 50 yards than anyone else this year. His accuracy in the mid range however is a bit questionable and something he needs to work on. As a side note he has also been handling all the punting and kickoff duties this year and has done a pretty good job as a punter (semi-finalist for the Ray Guy).

Is the guy from Colorado ready to come out yet. He's a beast. If you can get the ball to the 45-47 range he has a chance at hitting it.

As for punters being drafted, Daniel Sepulveda is that good. Only punter ever to win two Ray Guy awards (well after tonight when he gets his second one), and he is a great guy. Oh yeah, his second award winning season came after he tore his ACL on his planting leg. He will get drafted, and will be solid for years to come. One final note on him, I've seen him kick two that travelled 78 yards overall, and I've sen him hit a couple that looked like they travelled nearly 60 in the air.

Plus Shane is from East Bernard, a small town about 45 miles from Houston. I'm sure he would love to be closer to his family and play for the hometown team. What a heck of a pick up that would be! And he used to be a quarterback and had a canon for an arm in high school. So I mean if we ever needed to run a fake punt, he'd be the guy to get it done. :spot:
