So here's what Im confused about. Why does everyone think the Colts running game is so awful? Sure they didn't show much in the preseason, but as everyone will note, preseason means nothing.
They have 2 starters in their running by committee:
Dominic Rhodes (Lifetime stats 379 attempts for 1662 yards, 4.4ypc, 15 TDs)
In 2001, he had 233 attempts for 1104 yards, 4.7 ypc, 9 TD.
And
Joseph Addai, a very promising 1st round pick rookie.
I agree that their running game isn't what it used to be, but lets not forget that their game 1 was against a VERY good Giants defense (Umenyiora, Strahan, Arrington). And while it won't be as good without Edge, they have 1 proven veteran and 1 unproven but full of potential 1st round pick rookie.
If we compare that to our situation....well, I just don't think we should immediately assume their running game as a huge weakness
