Steeler Offensive Line Woes Continue
www.espnradio1250.comSteelers guard Kendall Simmons has a torn ACL and it appears likely that he'll miss the 2004 season. An MRI performed this morning showed a small tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and Simmons says he was told by Steelers doctors that he'll be out for the season. But Simmons says he's going to seek a second opinion from noted specialist Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Aalabama as soon as he can. Simmons was diagnosed with diabetes before last season, but still played in all 16 games.
