Why don't houston texans get a coach from David's Carr college from fresno state and then it might little easier on david carr. Coach seems to get no name players play good and has a very good record and also he would not cost as much it would be cheaper in long run but also he might turn out to be a very good move.

I think we need a coach with experience to bring this team back to where it should be. A rookie coach put us back a couple of year for a learning curve then he would have to learn the draft process. I think we should stick with a DC or OC or previous coach from another team.

This is the NFL not the WAC i think thats reason number one i dont think we should hire and unproven coach if david was good he could play under any coach point blank.

I hope the leadership will not continue to mortgage our future on the poor investment they made with their inaugaral pick.

Even if you go out and get a nfl coach you are stil taking a chance because dom capers is one see where it got us so i think it's good taking chance look at jimmy johnson if we beleive that he would never be coach at the first place. so if he got a winning record any body should take chance one in there life.

if but and coach DD Carr would hire fire AJ tough slow fast more less angry good fun will let them touchdown LT RT RB ILB OLB can win lose Bush Reggie win lose out in to be or not to be pretty hot sexy smart stupid *****ic paragraphs. Can't you understand?!?!?!?!? :twocents:

Hill is a tireless leader who takes no nonsense. He and Belicheck worked very closely at one point and our very good friends. Hill's assistant for special teams is the father of the academic game plan which is the reason Fresno State's football program is the 5th best academically in the Western Region. SC I believe is at 14 if you want a comparison. Our special teams coach is considered one of the best in the country. You can laugh, but he likes to play smash mouth football which all of you seem to like. He's a blue collar worker. His motto is "We will play anyone anywhere any time". He never plays to loose. His comments after the SC game were we didn't win there are no moral victories. He's a fighter. We loose another O-lineman this year who probably is as good as Mankins, but you probably will never hear about him.

(1) Hire someone to read defenses for him.

(2) Hire someone to throw the passes to people on the run.

(3) Hire someone to tell him a soul patch does not a soulmate or soul brother make.

(4) Hire someone to stand behind him in the pocket and tell him when a defensive player is coming.

(5) Hire somebody . . . nevermind.

Actually, Pat Hill has a background as a well regarded NFL asst coach. He has been mentioned a possibility as a NFL coach, especially when Fresno State was upsetting team all over the place, but no so much lately.
