I am curious what other people think about this guy. Personally I think he is the most over rated guy in the draft. I can't remember the last time an OL rated this high spent so much time on the ground.

entire Stanford program had a down year. Their offensive line & TE group has been gutted. I think you are right, based more off predecessors, Andrus is more like Andre the Giant & not light on his feet so should kick inside or play RT in best interest of all parties interested then will hold up in NFL longtime. Duane Brown wanna be.

Good find, did not know bout military school, thought he could not come out; might have to rethink my mock. Where do you think he will rank?
From what I've seen 3rd rd. However he's only 19 yrs old so his best football should be ahead of him. He probably will go in the 2nd. But after the OkOye experiment I wouldn't pick him before the 4th. (He should be one of the top performing OLB's at the combine)

true but did nothing after each of his incidents except have him apologize. He helped them get to semi finals.

I would put him at 4th round but have a feeling he will test really well at Combine and shoot up higher. He's very young which means he has more potential (Okoye!!!) so I would say he ends up 2nd-3rd. Kind of depends on how pre-draft stuff goes for him because nobody really expected him to come out. If he knocks out the pre-draft stuff then his stock might skyrocket.
I think he's a really good player though. Finished with 50+ tackles this year, 12 TFL, 9 sacks, 1 INT, and 8 pass breakups. Pretty impressive for a second year player playing SLB. He has an extremely high ceiling. He and Harold were an absolute force this year for that defense.
Different kind of LB, but where would you have him ranked and what kind of payer would he be in relation to my top 4 LB's?

Yes Smith did, and that's why I hope Smith learns something and doesn't pick him before the 4th.
On a side note, if the Texans were to pick a OT at 16 and WR Green- Beckham fell to the bottom of the 1st or top of the 2nd would you trade up for him? He's got Randy Moss type ability and would be the perfect replacement for AJ.
He got in trouble for smoking weed and went to his girlfriends apt, she wasn't there her friend was and wouldn't tell him where his GF was. He then proceeded to drag her by the head of the hair down a flight of stairs.
So there is that, but somebody will draft him in the 2nd rd at the latest. He's that good on the field.
Sounds like a winner. I can really see the Texans trading up for this guy.

Add FSU DE Mario Edwards Jr. and CB P.J. Williams to the declared list.
Didn't say I'm advocating taking him. But teams like the Seahawks/49ers/Pats/Ravens/Broncos will. Unfortunately this will give them a competitive advantage.
If he stays on the field and doesn't get bounced from the league.
And there lies the risk. One of the teams listed above will take a chance on him in late rd. 1-2.
If Winston really dropped to the Texans (which I doubt) how many of you would really be upset if they took him? IMO it's worth the risk. Most here would be Winston fans overnight.

I don't think I could stomach it. That may be the breaking point for me. Winston is a waste of space, a thug, with multiple rape allegations that Florida and FSU swept under the rug.

I would put him below all those guys right now although he is very similar athletically to McKinney. His game needs work but he has the kind of potential to be a hybrid LB / pass rusher like McKinney. He's a better pass rusher right now than McKinney but lacks the skills in coverage and against the run.
McKinney's biggest weakness is in pass coverage and he isn't really all that instinctive, but he's a great athlete. So I guess the two are kind of comparable.
Now I'm starting to question McKinney as a 1st rd pick.

Valles is a better athlete in space and can run with TE's but he gets lost in zone and lacks natural instincts in coverage. Virginia made a concerted effort this year to have him rush the passer in passing situations instead of dropping him into coverage.
He's also only played for 2 years. Kid is raw and needs to be coached up. He's nowhere near as physical at the line as McKinney is but he's also more of an edge player and pass rusher than run stopper.
I like McKinney but I don't think he's a 1st round pick. If he were 5-11, 240 and Perryman were 6-5, 250 then McKinney would be a 3rd round pick and Perryman would be a top 15 pick. A lot of the hype for McKinney is coming from his measureables.

I wouldn't be upset. I think he's certainly worth the risk.
But I have very little confidence that he is going to make it work in the NFL.
I would be upset. Don't want anything to do with this turd. I was all for taking Manzel ( not 1.1) and I was wrong. Glad we didn't take him. Nothing Manzel did compares to Winston's issues.
Was wondering when people would figure this out. I read all this great stuff about this guy and it just doesn't show up on the film. He's just an athlete. He has terrible instincts. Super slow to read and react.

He will get drafted no lower than the 3rd rd. Probably late 1st/early 2nd by a team like the Seahawks. If he washes out they haven't really lost anything.
With Smith picking the likes of XSF at 2-1 last yr, I wouldn't really have a problem picking him in the 2nd rd this year. You really don't have anything to lose given Smith's draft history.

Breshad Perriman (WR, UCF) has entered the draft. I really like this kid. Great measurements and has NFL bloodlines. A bit rough around the edges but has tools to work with. Probably headed for a mid-round selection.

I think he's very under the radar because nobody expected TCU to lose any underclassmen. But I think this kid has a lot of potential. 2nd/3rd round possibly. He was the best player not named Paul Dawson on the TCU defense this year.

Farmer is a former RB turned WR. He has potential but is an absolute project. Likely late round pick.
Miller declaring is puzzling. He comes with character concerns and got benched for a true freshman before the bowl game. He seems to be entering the draft instead of transferring. I don't like this decision and I'm not sure he even gets drafted.
