Even though Koren has character issues, he will still be a hot commodity in free agency.

If the Texans want to get an experienced solid #2 WR with youth, athleticism, speed, and height advantage of opposing DB's, then I think they should give Robinson a look.
IMO, a change of scenery should help this guy revive his career.

Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks WR Koren Robinson has been charged with DUI and reckless driving following a May 6 incident. This latest incident could spell the end for the troubled wide receiver in Seattle. He pleaded not guilty Tuesday, May 31 to the misdemeanor criminal charges filed in Kirkland Municipal Court, and he is due back before Judge Albert Raines July 18, documents show.

Davis37 said:We need to stay away from Robinson... Just what we need, a WR that cant catch the ball.
LikeABoss said:Koren Robinson has already had a season with over 70 catches and a season with over 60 catches
Corey Bradford has never caught over 50 passes throughout his entire career in the NFL.
Koren Robinson has been in the league for four years and has a total of 213 catches.
Corey Bradford has been in the league for seven years and only has a total of 167 catches
Koren Robinson's game>>>Corey Bradford's entire existance in the NFL
Need more proof:
Bradford's stats
Robinson's stats
D-ReK said:Koren Robinson also had 10 drops in 2003 and added 10 more drops in 2004, whereas Bradford only had 1 drop in 2003 and 3 drops in 2004...As a previous poster said, we don't need receivers that can't catch the ball...
LikeABoss said:First, can you provide a link to backup that claim.
Second, excluding this past season, Robinson has had way more balls thrown to him than Bradford, so of course Robinson's drops are gonna seem more inflated that Bradford's drops, because the ball is being thrown to Robinson more than Bradford.
Third, even with those 10 drops you are claiming, Robinson has still caught more passes in a season than Bradford, which I've pointed out in my earlier post.
I don't see how you can even try to comapre these two when Bradford has never caught over 50 passes nor recieved over 1000 yards throughout his entire existance in the NFL.
And why do you keep talking like no WR drops any passes? You were saying that same stuff about Troy Williamson. Can you give this dropped passes stuff a rest, because all WRs drop passes.
D-ReK said:Koren Robinson:

I realize all WRs drop passes, but Robinson's drop numbers are ridiculous...Also, Robinson was a #1 WR in Seattle, so of course he's going to have more catches than Bradford, who has always been the second (or third) option...

bigTEXan8 said:First off, the last thing the Texans need is a drunk who can't catch 9 yd in route from a QB who's arm doesn't exactly burn the ball to his WRs. Heck, I'm a better WR than Robinson because I don't do drugs and I don't get ridicuously drunk and then go driving. Second, we need to sign Shelton because Wade or whoever is at LT is about as good as a tree stump. Third, we aren't going to sign Law, because we don't have enough cap room to sign a guy who will get injured 6 weeks into the season. Plus, we want speed, and Law has lost a step. Fourth, what we need to do is get a decent TE. Hopefully, we can fiind someone. I'm out.

It used to be so innocent, the way Koren Robinson would habitually show up late for Seahawks team meetings during his rookie NFL season, 2001.
But the problem continued. And it wasn't just his tardiness. Four years later, suspension, humiliation and even rehabilitation for alcohol abuse plus Robinson's public acknowledgments of his problem and the promises to not take his opportunity to be in the NFL for granted never seemed to be enough.
Robinson is in trouble again, and he might have run out of second chances with the Seahawks.
Today, or very soon, the athletically gifted wide receiver could be released because of his latest transgression. Robinson, 25, was arraigned Tuesday in Kirkland Municipal Court on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving that stemmed from an incident early on the morning of May 6.

KIRKLAND - The Seattle Seahawks have released wide receiver Koren Robinson and cornerback Bobby Taylor, the team announced Thursday afternoon.
The Seahawks acquired Joe Jurevicius and Jerome Pathon during the offseason as added depth to the receiver position.
Robinson was Seattle's first-round pick (ninth overall) in the 2001 NFL Draft and had played in 57 games with 52 starts. He had 213 receptions for 3,167 yards with 12 touchdowns and a long of 83 yards. He posted career-highs in 2002 with 78 receptions for 1,240 yards, becoming only the second Seattle receiver besides Steve Largent to surpass 1,200 yards in a single season.
The Seahawks signed Taylor in the 2004 offseason but he played in only nine games due to a knee injury. He recorded 13 tackles and one forced fumble, but missed the last seven games of the 2004 season.
The Seahawks also signed cornerbacks Andre Dyson and Kelly Herndon this offseason.
