So, three years later, what do you think?

Does he have what it takes to be a starter in this league?
 
jury is still out. This year he will have a better line and more weapons. I wasn't impressed with him in the 4 games or so I watched him play last season. He seemed indecisive but I'm sure much of that had to do with his wrs not being able to separate.
 
I thought he was going to be a bust of epic proportions coming out of college but after his second season I was eating crow. Now I'm not so sure. Like Vinny said, the jury is still out.
 
Agree jury still out, with the kind of support the Bucs are throwing at him offensively...it's really a make or break year for him.
 
Coming out of college I thought he had what it takes to be very good in the NFL, but he has struggled and like Vinny said he looks indecisive to often. He looks to me like a guy with tons of talent who's enjoying being rich but getting by on his athletic talents and not being a true student of the game. He needs to mature. JMO.
 
Every time I have seen him play, I see a guy with a big body and big arm that likes to throw the ball over people or into the ground. At least this last season he seemed unable to stay consistent or accurate. Like a power pitcher trying to aim.
 
i'm calling it now, i don't think he's that good & he'll be a bust. He just doesn't handle pressure well & he's wildly inaccurate when he's moving around in the pocket & trying to throw the ball.
 
He has a fire lit up under his butt now. TB just signed Dan O' to be his back-up.

I'm not sure. I don't know if it was him that caused last year's TB fail or the coach.

Put me in the "jury's still out" camp.
 
Was not a fan of him coming out and I think he will end up a bust. That said, jury is still out since TB is just now surrounding him with weapons.
 
You really felt the need to bump an 18 month old thread when there are two ongoing threads on Josh Freeman? One in the main Texans forum and one in the NFL forum. Neither is more than half way down the 1st page. If you honestly gave a care about what people think about Freeman, you could just read those and get an answer to your question. Nobody is going to say anything different here than those threads.

More than about you specifically, this is about thinking before posting. And yes I am locking.
