i was just thinking about this today...ok...we know our main weaknesses are a solid starter at LT...an explosive TE who can block and catch...solid number 2 reciever to take off the double team from andre...but in this draft if our season goes as planned...we won't be selecting in time to draft our tackle of choice or maybe even any of the top four or five tackles...lewis might also be gone as the number of top tier TE's are normally taken early...so what about jason allen...the safty/corner from tennessee...seeing how this draft seems to be very weak in recievers maybe the eventual replacement for marcus coleman would be a solid choice somewhere around 27th overall pick...at 6'2'' 200lbs he has the size and speed to play FS in the pros and is a very solid tackler

any thoughts on jason allen?

He's very good. He was pretty much a one man show in that secondary last year. I don't know if I would draft him with our first pick though.

It's going to be a rough draft season for me because the best Georgia player I have to pimp is Max Jean-Gilles. :crying:

It seems to me that Coleman is pretty well intrenched at FS and can play for a few more years, unless he is outed like Glenn was. I also think that we will be picking in the high teens, low twenties. So I would rather go after TE Mercedes Lewis of UCLA or C Mike Degory of Florida if none of the elite tackles are on the board.
