Yea, we can draft centers and guards to play RT. But LT (or weakside, whichever side that is - usually left) is unique. I'm still thinking they are taking the wrong kind of athelete to play LT, If you're 6'5" - 6'8" and 320lbs-infantrycak said:Neither Jordan Gross nor Robert Gallery--both regarded much more highly than any of the LT prospects this year--started at LT their rookie year. Both played RT. So the answer is highly unlikely.

350lbs, how can you possably keep up with someone life Dwigth Freeny or Jevon Kersey - its too much to ask and downright illogical. Its like a center trying to keep up with a point guard.
Wand was getting beat on inside moves, bull rushes, or stunts in the 2nd half of the season. I don't question his size or agility...Wand has that. It's his strength and instincts are what's lacking. Will Wand overcome those defencies in '05? Maybe, but I wouldn't want to bet my QB's health on it. Someone must be brought in to provide competition for Wand.infantrycak said:...a long armed LT like Wand can just ride Freeney or Kerse out of the play most of the time. The trouble comes when there is no pocket to step into and the LT has to truly man up on those guys.
