Am sat here watching the Combine (1st time ever)
I am getting more and more impressed with this guy.

What has he been like in collage games.


They way people are talking about other LBs and DL i think we could get him with a sneaky 4th or 5th (i could also be talking crap :( )
 
You're wasting your time watching the combine. Watch games and and come to your own conclusion. There are many websites that teach you what to look for. What actual scouts look for. For example Google Lance Zerlien to learn what scouts look for in OL.

Too many times easily roll blocked by RB and most of time man handled at los.

I like Jake Ryan as a late round pick, 6th or 7th round, but I'd move him to 3-4 ILB. He's got decent speed but not OLB speed.
 
I still think he is a mid round pick. Good kid. Can be a leader. Good example. Keeps his nose clean. Has the tools to be a good ILB. Just needs to add a little weight and keep working. I think hes gone by the 4th.
 
Got worse every year he was in college, probably due to injuries. First time I saw him as a freshman I couldn't take my eyes off of him. But now, meh.

In a 34 he could be your #4 ILB and a ST guy.

Definitely due to injuries. He isnt the best, but where you really get your value with him is intangibles.
