That was a bit of a let down yesterday vs the Vikings, but in hindsight it feels like it was coming.
We move on to a home game against the Jags, who play prime time tonight against the Bills, so will be on a short week.
Trevor Lawrence is a QB who I always thinks looks pretty damn good to the eye test until you see the record, but he does have a big arm and can hurt us if we don’t tighten up on D.
Myself and my partner are travelling to Houston this week and will be at the game, it’s our first time visiting H town and our first home Texans game.
A potential meet up was mentioned a few weeks back, potentially on the Saturday, if anyone with good local knowledge would like to hang out it would be great. @OptimisticTexan @Texansballer74 @steelbtexan seemed to show some interest in meeting at a place called MoJo’s on the Saturday? We are staying in the Galleria area so not sure how easy to travel it is? Especially if we’re having a few beers! But if anyone can firm up a plan that would be great.
If I’ve left anyone off the tag list please don’t take offence, I’d love to catch up with as many as possible, been hanging around this forum for 20 years now and following the Texans has become a huge passion in my life, and many of the people on here have taught me so much about the game over the years.
We’ve also been invited to tailgate before the game but not too sure of the exact plans etc, so could potentially bump into anyone doing similar on Sunday.
Can also use this thread for any upcoming game talk, Stroud looked a little limpy after the last hit he took, will Mixon return? What the heck happens to that OL when it’s your top paid players causing the problems, can the D shut down drives?
Seems a lot to get figured out, and now is the time to fix it because the late season schedule looks brutal if we aren’t playing sound football.
