Jaguars Fans Checking In: Good game today Good luck next week

MARINEJAG

Practice Squad
Hey folks,
Just thought I would drop in and say congratulations on your win today and Good luck(not too much though:ok: ) on next weeks game. I am looking forward to a competitive, injury free game. If you could do us a favor though and let us win I would appreciate it:redtowel: Anyway enjoy your win today and we will chat hopefully throughout the week. GO JAGS...

You are going to have to earn it. Being from the same division and with a history with you guys, I am sure it will be a hard fought game. Add to it that we will be in Battle Red, a road game for you, and your team will be in for a REAL fight.

We are just hoping for a well played game. Good luck on making the playoffs.

Welcome to the board you will find plenty of fanatic losers that will have no problem rooting for the Jags.

We are looking forward to smacking you guys upside the head. Ugly win for y'all today, but a needed one indeed.

I hope we bring it next Saturday, Jags fan. Nothing sweeter at this point than a little gift from the Texans that happens to knock Jacksonville out of the playoff hunt. :howdy:

Actually, we are almost gaurenteed a lock for the playoffs, barring about 10 different things happening. You would be hardpressed to knock us out at this point.

That being said, good win today. You guys played well. Heres to a great game this coming weekend. I wont be able to watch it because im leaving town tommorow, but I hope you all enjoy it and have a Merry Xmas at the same time. :yahoo: Jags

We'll look forward to being a thorn in the Jags shot @ a playoff spot :ok: In the event that we still win and the Jags still make the playoffs, I wish the Jags well. GO TEXANS!!!!!

Wasnt that quick for you to be checkin in? Whatever goodluck man, for hard fought, injury free, game, hopefully we win, but dont want to spoil you playoff spot, oh well good luck jags:)

What happened with San Fran? You put up 21 against us the last game. Do you think it's leadership (i.e., lack of Byron on the playing field)? I'm looking forward to a great game this Christmas Eve. Should be a lot of fun.

Carr2Johnson,
I don't have too much more time in the U.S. I gotta go back to Iraq pretty soon so my time is limited. That is why I am on the board early...
Osa,
I think the reason why we played the 49er's so bad were a couple of things.
1) I do not believe we took that team very serious since they were at the time 0-6 on road games. (not too smart).
2) conservative playcalling and playing not to lose attitude.
3) Very stupid mental mistakes and penalties giving the 49er's field position.
4) Looking ahead to the next two games.
Obviously the intensity was not there. I do not however believe that will be a problem for our upcoming game against you folks. It would be a huge mistake for us to put this in the win column before the game is played. You have always been competitive with us, and have had quite a few bad breaks this year. We have as well but were able to work through a few more of them.
I suspect it will be a three point game either way. If Carr CAN get protection, you all will have a chance to win. If our defense plays the way they should be, I do not know if you can hold up in the game. With that said It could go either way, I am just hoping it goes ours...

Congrats Texans.
Looking forward to Sunday in Texas.

You guys spoiled it for us last year.

I'm hoping that's not the case again!

Good Luck.

I expect another close game, as always. I hope it there are no serious injuries to either side.

Note to GLM: I don't know what the over/unders are. I do know that Del Rio is not happy with the late hits.

Greetings tinhorns, looking forward to a well played game with no injuries and win number 11. We'll be looking forward to assisting you with attaining the best draft position you can.

Good to see the Jag fans comin' on over to check in. Should be another one of those fun one's to watch.

And Fargin, you know how much I loved Jimmy Redmond too.

Should be a great match-up as usual. Jags should win this game, but it wont be because of our offense. They have been in a rut lately.

Our defense should handle you guys pretty easily like they did earlier in the season.

Good Luck.

We'll do what we can to repeat last years win. More importantly, let it be a close exciting game, no injuries and all that stuff :)

Merry christmas to y'all btw! :)

Whatever dude, did you watch Sunday's first half and our offensive prowess? If a Denny Green led team could not stop our 3rd Coast offense how will Del Rio do? The 3rd coast offense has been crafted after Ali's famous Rope a' Dope strategy against Foreman. We simply throw as many passes behind the LOS and hope that we can gain positive yardage. This will suck in the safeties and they will have 8 to 9 guys in the box. However, rather than throwing down field due to them stacking the box, this is where the dope comes in, we call running plays. Absolutley brilliant. Laugh you may, but it works and that is all that matters to me.

I seriously hope that we stretch the field against you guys and catch you off guard, but I ain't holding my breath.

Every time I think the Jags will CREAM some team, it never happens. I know the Texans play up for the Jag games. Texans have earned my respect from last year sweep. This is a different year, and it's pay back...the Jags hope to even to 4-4 against the Texans. I know the Jag players have this game in their head and still remember the sting from last year.

There's no doubt in any Jag fan's mind that this will be a hard fought game. It would be no matter what players either teams fields.

Your team's offense has been coming alive lately and ours is somewhat stagnant. The Carr - Johnson connection always seems to give us fits. Losing Gary Walker was in my opinion the most painful part of our cap rebuilding. And for some unknown reason, it just seems like our players don't care about this rivalry as much as the fans do and your players seem to.

That said, I'm hoping that we wake up a little bit and score some points. Not because it is Houston (though that would be nice because of the double-knock you put on us last year:brickwall ), but more because I don't want to rely solely on the defense from here on out.

Good luck. No injuries.l

My buddy 1stdown/Moo...

I take it that the respect has waned. 'Tis fine, we will remind you of it later this week. I know the Jags have this game in their collective head too....and they are uneasy about it.
BATTLE RED, BABY!!

Just so you know where the Jags stand...
Jaguars | Looking to clinch a playoff spot
Tue, 20 Dec 2005 21:30:57 -0800

The Associated Press reports the Jacksonville Jaguars can clinch a playoff spot Saturday, Dec. 24, with a win over the Houston Texans. The Jaguars also could clinch if they lose and the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers lose.

So why help them? Let's play some ball this Saturday..... that was wierd to type.

Filo...Yes, the Texans are in our heads this weekend. Last year's sweep and knocking us out of the playoffs will always sting...nah, the respect has not waned, just the teams. Texans have completely embarassed themselves this year and the Jags have stayed on thier game plan. Jags will take care of the Texans Saturday, I don't anticipate a CREAM...but I think Jags 24, Texans 17...Jags win by 7, but don't win the point spread. If I was a betting man, I would take the Texans and 10 points.

We could be 0-15 with this game being our last and I would still be excited because I know what these Texans bring when it comes to playing the Jags. I look forward to these two games every year because it's always hard fought. The only other games that get me as fired up are the Indy games and that's only because I always talk myself into believing this could be the one.
Good luck to you and your team Jacksonville and hope ya'll have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Almost losing to the niners was in your gameplan? Bahahaha! No matter what has transpired this season on our end, we plan to come locked and loaded. Lets just see what the Reeves-consulted Texans will bring. They brought alot before, can you handle what they may bring on Saturday? I will not project a score but it will favor the Texans. :)

Time to play spoiler again this year. I like this game, it is fun!

Just stopping by to tell you guys good luck in the game. You guys always play us tough and I for one will not go in with the mindset we will for sure win.

But more important than that, have a safe and merry Christmas and a great New Year.
