Jaguars: Dirty Cheating LOSERS!

The Jaguars are dirty. Carr was injured on a late hit. Wynn was hit late out of bounds on a kick return. The Jaguars cheat. The Refs were in their pocket. Neither of these obvious personal fouls called for a penalty. (Mario barely touched Saint Eli and got a penalty. If a Texan took three steps and drilled a QB in shoulder with his helmet he would be penalized, ejected, and probably suspended for the same time as any other player would be for stomping on an opponent's face). The obvious catch and fumble out of bounds for a first down by Daniels was ruled incomplete - on the replay challenge!

Jaguars - at home, dirty, cheaters, and yet, they LOST! AGAIN! LOSERS!!!LOL!:marionaner:

Sorry for bumping this thread up, people, but I had to repond.

So, you are saying that our entire team is dirty for a questionable call that could have gone either waY? What kind of bs is that! Here's a little bit of reality for you, sweetheart: A DEFENDER WITH FORWARD MOTION WHILE THE QB DELIVERS THE ROCK IS NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO MAKE AN IMMEDIATE STOP. It's common sense.

The refs were in our back pockets? Huh? If the refs were in our pockets, then they don't call a penalty on Reggie Williams during that key first down by Cortez Hankton. Most of the calls actually went against us. But, I wouldn't expect you to actually know that considering your soul intent is to get a rise out of the opposition. But the irony is that many of your own fellow fans think your a complete *****, too.

We're losers? Seriously? Okay, against the Texans...Yes. Congrats. But how about putting some emotion into some other games that don't include Jacksonville? Jag week is over. Back to the reality of losing.

The even sadder thing is that you're a 48 year old man.

Of course he can't make an immediate stop, but he shouldn't have aimed at him with his helmet at that point. He knew before he actually hit him that he didn't have the ball anymore and he buried his head and went in for the kill.

That said, I think ya'll got as many bad calls as we did. So in that respect, we are even.

If David hadn't been hurt, we wouldn't even be talking about that one, but you have to admit it was questionable.

And if you want to call us losers, that doesn't hurt my feelings. The future is bright here in Houston. Good luck to ya'll the rest of the season, and we can start over again next year. Makes for great games!!!

Well, I can't speak for my fellow fans here, but I don't think the "reality of losing" is going to stay around in Houston. At least not this weekend. Although we've lost games I thought we'd win before, I think we can beat the Bills.
Cherish that 5-4 record this week. I think it may just be 5-5 when Tiki gets done with you on Monday night. Good luck, because I think you might need it, despite what the guys on Sirius NFL Radio are saying.
I'll be rooting for you in all your matchups against the Titans though. I hate the Titans.

Personally, I dont think your team is dirty because of a "questionable call" (because on that particular hit, I am in the minority & didnt think it was all that late AND I am sick of QB's all around the league being coddled), but I know that Jags are dirty for cheap shots on JJ Moses (thanks Redmond), Donovin Darius' cheap shot on Furgeson (packers receivers) and many, many other instances.

I dont usually get into talking about bad calls - because many of them are subjective depending on what side you are on. I also beleive that calls work themselves out and are usually fairly even... (well except the replay).

Well if we are Texans fans, and we own you... Then yes you are losers. Who said we don't put emotion into other games? I'm sorry but I don't understand what that has to do with the price of tea in China... I guess what you are saying is that you are upset, 'cause the Texans save all of our energy and/or emotion just to beat your jags. That sounds juvenile. Certainly the jags know about the reality of losing, so maybe you can give us some more pointers, since we are only 4 1/2 year old franchise and you are in your 10th or 12th.

So what if the person that expressed their opinion about the Jags is 48 years old? I wasn't aware that a persons age had anything to do with that person's opinions and passion about football.

Back to the reality of losing.

yep, we've only won 21 games in our entire history. Trust me, you're not telling us something that we don't already know all too well.

Maybe you'll try to understand why we cherish our wins so much...even more so when 6 of our 21 wins are against your team. :D

Good luck with the rest the season, though.

You must spread some reputation around before giving it to Double Barrel again.

Sorry man ....

After getting a few questionable calls against us for roughing the QB - last week's Vlade Divacesque flop by Eli after a Mario love tap comes to mind - Texans fans are a little sensitive.

Yeah, the officials didn't even want a defender to think bad thoughts about Eli.

I root for the Jags every time they play the Titans, Colts, and Cowboys.

The way roughing the passer is usually called looks ticky-tack most of the time. The NFL needs to get all of the officials in the same room and show them video of examples of what is and what is not roughing the passer over and over again. There is very little consistency with other calls as well.

That hit on Carr would have been ruled 'attempted murder' by the head official we had working the Texans-Giants game the week before. They gave Eli a 3 foot buffer zone where it was illegal to even think harmful thoughts about him.

The roughing the passer rule is just screwed up right now.

The refs are being asked to enforce a rule that requires too much discretion: did the defender land on the QB with his "full weight"; was it one step or two into the QB (near impossible to determine at real speed); was the defender trying to go helmet to helmet or did the QB duck into the blow; did the defender hit the QB between the waist and shoulders?

Its just too much and there's no consistency in the calls. Let them play the game and only penalize the blatant abuse.

I'm just bumping this thread because I like the idea of having:

Try several thousand miles across te Atlantic - I had one of the zebras throw a yellow flag in my living room as I was eating my chicken balti and thinking "Why is that I hate the Manning sisters....I wish Eli would disappear up Shockeys butt....."

Yeah, they have a real good selection. There are several places in town like the Ginger Man that have hundreds of beers available. Nice to get some of the variety from Europe.

Not to go further off topic, but the Ginger Man is probably one of the best beer joints I've been to. I've been to several places around the world and have tasted a beer (or a dozen, who's counting) in every place. Ginger Man has had darn near every one of them.

It's great that the Texans actually have a team that they can call their bee-otch and even better that it's the Jags. However, after further review I don't think the hit that took Carr out of the game was in any way dirty. Borderline, maybe but I wouldn't expect that call if the roles were reversed.

Are the Jags dirty? YES.
Are they cheaters? I WOULDN'T GO THAT FAR.
Are they losers? OHHH, YEAH.

My personal goal for the Texans this year (outside of the obvious things) is overtaking the Jags in the division. It's sort of bittersweet to say you "own" a team that is ahead of you in the standings.

We are close to ownership of the Tacks, whose future doesn't look very bright what with the sorry owner and all.

If we're not team enough to "own" the Colts, maybe we can at least "borrow" them for Christmas Eve. That would make for one fine Christmas morning.

I've written to Santa and he said he see what he could do. A victory over the Horseshoes would be sweet especially if they're still going for the 16 - 0.
