He's a 21 year-old kid going on 18, a big boy, very immature. Yea the instagram thing sounds bad, but he really probably doesn't know any better.

Mettenberger sounds absolutely mature compared to the guy we took at 1.1

Why is Watt all up in Mett's **** a week ago over a selfie but playing next to this Clown you hear nothing? JJ needs to straighten this asshole out.

He'd answer the questions differently. O'Brien really likes the kid. And yes, he has some growing up to do.

Don't assume the source of any displeasure with JD is with the Head Coach, because it's not. People have agendas... be it coaching, front-office, or medical/training staff.

Learned my lesson on that Mario jersey years ago. The NFL doesn't get a cent out of me now. My man in China sells me a counterfeit version of what I want but I wasn't stupid enough to buy a Clowney jersey even from him at his prices.

Admitting you made a mistake, though cheap, is first part of the healing process lol
 
I'll crack jokes but I'm not giving up on Clowney. I hope he can piece together a decent rookie year after these injuries. If not, let's IR him and get someone that knows what they're doing to fix him up for next year. No one on the Texans medical staff of course.

Just now in his post game conference, OB totally smacked down all rumors of him being unhappy with Clowney re his effort or injuries.
 
Unless someone plays full time and ends up a colossal screw up, he can't really be labeled a bust in his first year. Clownster will still have the rest of this season and into next year before he can be properly labeled a bust. In the meantime, I would like to see some of his stuff in a real game that I saw in preseason. That would ease my mind quite a bit.
 
So if he used his cell ..I guess we can expect a fine from the NFL. (if I recall a polamalu incident a few years ago)

Injured players during the game, it depends on who they are... Brian Cushing because of his years of experience we had him on the sideline today. Rookies have the choice of going to the press box or staying in the locker room.

Dude's been hurt. How was Texian right about Clowney? You don't know how hurt he is, if he could have played or not. Coming off an injury, not practicing all week, or much at all this year & he didn't play.... still too early to say anyone was right about Clowney.
 
Owen Daniels missed one game after a knee scope. Obviously I don't know the extent of either injury. Just sayin

FWIW, I still think he was the correct pick at 1-1 given the players available. Although, I wouldn't have been upset with Watkins. It's typical Texans luck to not have a Luck type QB when we 'acquire' the 1-1.

I think he's got some learning to do
