i wonder if gabbert ever sees the field again after this game. it's amazing how playing a competent QB suddenly gives the jags a fair chance to win games. if that was gabbert on that last 3rd down, he'd have either gotten sacked or thrown a pick. instead henne scrambles for 2-3 yards and keeps the clock running as well.

Manning blitzed up the middle, smacked Gabbert in the throwing arm...ball popped loose and we recovered the fumble.

Gabbert has been out ever since. Henne has been tearing it up out there.

Wade is too good for his own good. Sometimes the best pressure you put on an offense is by keeping their worst QB on the field all day.
 
In a game where offenses are trading punches, I have to put my faith in the idea that Wade Phillips and his defense are going to eventually crack the Chad Henne code and shut him down at some point.

We're spoiled in thinking that AFC South opponents are going to lay down against us.

I'll never understand throwing it short of the sticks on 3rd down. Even if Walter had caught it, it would still be short.
