That's not correct. Stewart did not lose a fumble this season (he did fumble in the Fresno State game). But, he has lost fumbles in previous seasons. And oh, he's NEVER HAD A FUMBLE IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER!!!

Espn doesn't have a fumble credited to any college player. I don't think the NCAA actually tracks fumbles, except on a team basis. You'd basically have to go through all the play-by-play transcripts to determine the fumbles.I stand corrected. ESPN's stat page is apparently wrong then.
I'm having a hard time in deciding who I like better between Mendenhall and Stewart. They seem to be very comparable to each other; they both are power runners with breakaway speed, both 20 years old, both 5'11 225lbs-ish, and both have simliar production (1500+ yards at 6.4 and 6.2 yards per carry.)
I would love either one with our first pick.
am i the only one who didnt think JS' highlights were anything to get excited about bar the first run? mendenhall (who id never seen before) on the other hand looked quite impressive
They're highlight reels - they're suppose to be impressive.
Show me film of the guys blocking, studying tape, following their assignment, running the proper route, etc...
No one ever looks bad on "highlight" tape.

I remember hearing about a QB once whose dad made a "highlight" reel that was just his incompletions.
Basically showing that many of his incompletions were good throws but his receivers dropped the balls.
I don't remember who I heard that about. I think the father sent the tape to college recruiters.
forget the fact that they're "highlights," just watch the film and analyize it.
my minimalist approach to watching prospects this year has given me a whole new spin on things.
