Inside NFL predictions

Ok, so I dont really care for the predictions from the Inside the NFL show on HBO. All four of them picked denver to win over the Texans, since none of them think denver will loose 3 in a row, and at home. However, what really gets me is later in the show they speak how denver cant win games if they dont run the ball or get shutdown running the ball. Did they watch the Houston/Jags game? Did they miss the texans defense shutting down the run on one of the best RB's in the league? They even mentioned that the vikings said the Texans Defense was the best defense in the league they have seen this year. Do they listen to themselves speak? Plummer is also throwing interceptions like crazy, and you all know that the Texans defense has sticky hands. This is a game for our D to shine, and show the league we arnt the newbies anymore.

Go Texans! :headbang:

They even said we wouldn't beat the Raiders. I just believe those things will change with wins. Carr said on FoxSW that nothing will change until we start winning more games. We really need to focus more on being a consistent team rather than getting respect of the analysist.

If we can win this game we'll be in first place in the AFC south and the only team in the division whos undefeated in the division. I dont really care what the media says but after we beat the broncos they will have no choice but to talk about us, even though they'll prolly say its just a fluke and we are still pretenders ! I love this team and know what they're capable of, the rest of the world will find out soon enough !

Oh yes they will talk about us when we beat denver, but then they will predict us to lose again against the colts...Its a never ending battle....But once we take the colts, we'll get noticed.....YEAHHHHH TEXANSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!1

some peopls say these next 2 games are gonna be tough on us,,,if we win not only will we be tied for first but we will be one game up on the colts cause of their bye,,,,but then we have the colts the following week and it gives us a chance to move to games up from them and 3-0 in the division !!
All looks good to me and i dont really think we'll lose either of them !

Keep in mind these would be two road games back to back so it won't be that easy. Let's take the Broncos first and then we can look at Indy. I do agree that these two games are the most important of the season but like the team says there is much work to be done and none of these games mean we will make the playoffs if we win them. Just win and let everything else fall where it should.

I do agree that these two games are the most important of the season

Last week Jacksonville was the most important game of the season....This week Denver is the most important game of the season....Next week Indy will be the most important game of the season, and so forth and so on. They are all very important if we are gonna make some noise (we are starting to rumble).

Well last weeks game had a different meaning to important than this weeks game is really what I should say. This game is more about respect than anything else and taking the division lead. The last one was to prove we will be in the division race. Now that we proved we are in the division race we need to take lead.

Ah! What am I saying? You're right, they are all important.

I really love this. Evey game we play seems like the most important game ever, lol!

If we beat Denver.. then yes.. indi will be the most important game of the season.. however.. if we beat indi :).. I dont think we will have more than a few more "most important" games.

These 3 games are just the turning point for the team. either we make it over this hump and take it to the next level.. or we dont, and start looking to next year.

Honestly.. of the next two games.. I think Denver is the most important because it will be very telling of how far we have come. Games like the one against Jacksonville.. we have always been competitive in.. but after winning a big game like that, the next week we tend to come out very stale. I dont know why.. maybe we just wear ourselves out for the real important games.. but that inconsistency is a product of being a young team. If we come into denver and dominate like we have been, then that is a huge step for our team.

So, the denver game is important because it will show how much we have grown, or if we havent quite grown enough :).. But, if we win that game.. then the Indi game will be important because it could be the difference between winning the division, or possibly a wild card spot.
