a psychic told us we'd have the league's #1 rusher, and the 8th best kicker (according to FG accuracy pct)... and we wouldn't have lost one game due to a missed FG the whole season. What would you have guessed our record would be?

I would have honestly said 12-4. You take our two biggest weaknesses from last season, and make them strengths? It's hard to argue we don't win 3 more games.

Kind of amazing how we have regressed in so many other areas.
 
Heh....sometimes the NFL is a weird, weird thing.

Chargers were like, Top 5 in offense AND defense and didn't make the playoffs either. And as much of an achilles heel inter-division games are to us, Oakland went 6-0 in theirs and still missed out.

Actually that man's name is Second Honeymoon. He predicted that we would be 6-10 and got trashed for it as usual.
