i would be happy with the draft if...

My top 3 needs in the draft are: stud DB, fast and legit #2 WR, and another OT/OL for depth purposes. i don't care what rounds they come in, I just want those 3 things in the draft. If we get them, I think we should be fine.
 
I would really like to see us pick up a center that would at the very least be able to compete with McKinney/Flanagan. Still think DB and WR are more pressing needs.
 
I am the biggest proponent of draft O-line in the first .. If the Texans trade down and get Staley (preferr Levi Brown) I would not be upset because that would get us picks.
 
I wanna see us trade down and get an OL, CB, WR and FS in the draft... hopefully in that order. And as for the last couple of picks, I'd go BPA, making sure to draft a DT.
 
Trade down to 20-25, pick up a second (ish) and get Ryan Kalil and DB help. See if you can find a WR somewhere around there, too.
 
Trade down, get another pick for this or next year. Get CB/Nelson in 1st rd. WR in 3rd rd, then look for OL and DL the rest of the way.

That would be sweet. Get some of our 2nd rd picks back. Trade our 10 down to say..25ish and pick up this year's and next year's 2nd round picks.

Take Ryan Kalil.

Then in rounds 2-7 we could take best available in WR, CB, FS, DL, OL.
 
The thing is ... who are teams gonna want trade up for .

1. Peterson

2. Quinn

3. Brown

4. Landry

5. Anderson

6. Adams

They'll want the same guys we'd want except for Quinn .
 
I've talked to some Phil. Eagles fans and they REALLY love patrick willis. Willis may go 11 to san francisco or 12, 13,14. we need more picks so this could be a real good trading partner. Eagles draft 26th overall.

10= 1300 points
26= 700 points
differenst = 500 points.

Say they throw in their 2nd rounder next season.
2008 2nd round choice= (this years =330 points)

we still need something else...they suggested Tra Thomas LT. last year they got Winston Justice. Thomas is a 10 year veteran (selected 11th overall) so he might not have but a few years left in him. injury in '05 but performed well last year. If yall know more about him fill me in please. Thomas could be a great guy to have w/ spencer's ?'s. and untill our o-line 'gels' and becomes solid...

with the 26th pick we take Ryan Kalil. this is not too high for him imo.

so our o-line would look like this...

Thomas-Pitts-Kalil-Weary-Winston
i didn't include spencer because we have no idea his situation. i like the look of that line a lot and if it takes spencer a whole year to heal then so be it we'd be fine.

then again rest of this draft we could go wr, cb, fs..etc but next year we'd have a second rd pick. our oline would pretty much be complete and young'ish..to protect our new franchise qb of $48 mill!!!!

Not too long ago I mentioned trading down so we could nab Kalil and some other o line help. I was told it takes two to tango and who really would trade up with us for more picks.
I'll take Kalil, Satele or Datish...but I believe we need a center and at minimum another tackle...

WE SIGNED A STARTING TACKLE and we signed a decent DT. We dont need to draft Brown what we need is a CB or FS with the 10 pick, or trade down to draft the same or possibly WR. Landry wont be there with the 10th pick, so Leon Hall is possible. If we trade back for another 3rd say to 15-17, we could still pick a starter we need, and pick up depth. Levi Brown should not be on our draft board.

we did? you mean black? black is a backup...who just so happened to start because of injuries.
 
Moving back to the10th spot and some scouts reports on Brown not being a pro level LT....are you all opposed to picking up Branch? Okeye? Hall?...I would love to somehow get back into the 2nd and getting the center from USC, that would solve two starting spots and I am still praying that we can pick up Sepulveda in the 6th or 7th so take care of another need position and a sure impact starter.
 
If AD is there at 10 I will be so happy if we take him because that means Landry is gone.

if Landry and AD are gone.i'd hope for a trade down where we get two more picks somewhere and get some of the picks back
 
Lock down OLT with Levi Brown If he doesn't go off the board to Hotlanta or Miami.

Come back in three and four and take the Speed guy CB Brown from Cal Poly , Black LB from New Mexico.
