I wonder if Reeves is a red herring?

Always looking on the dark side, but one thought that's been mentioned in passing in the big Reeves Hired thread is the possibility that Reeves being hired gives McNair cover to KEEP Capers and Casserly. I have no idea, but I wondered if anyone knows the backstory of these three? Are they friends, or have they been friends or co-workers in the past? Are they NOT friends? I haven't found any information about this and I was thinking some of you might know.

I don't buy it, he answers to his investors and the fans. He should ask them to resign if they are that friendly.

I think the only story was that Casserly was a well respected GM for the Redskins and that Capers had experience coaching expansion teams.

I have not seen any link, at least in Reeves' stints as HC with Denver, NYG and Atlanta.

Reeves has never worked with either Capers or Casserly, he has coached against both on several occasions.
