Not sure which source they're using for their 5-star rating. Luck was a 5-star recruit in many systems, but not the one they're using evidently.

True, but it still does not keep the relationship between 5 star recruits and long-term success college, much less NFL is not that great.

Honestly, I wouldn't expect the correlation to be all that high for the NFL. I would've expected it to be indicative of collegiate success though.

There's too many ways to mask deficiencies at the collegiate level that just won't fly in the NFL.

It just goes to show that just like the NFL draft, trying to "project" success at the next level is a guessing game.
