If we got Jurevicius and resigned Gaffney, we would have a pretty solid WR core. Johnson would be our main threat, with Jurevicius being our possesion WR and Gaffney linning up in the slot. I love Jurevicius and although he isn't a big name WR he always seems to come up big when his team needs him and more importantly he MAKES THE CATCH!!
 
It's not always about the big names, Jurevicius, I feel, is still a very underrated WR, he has the talent to have good consistent years. Would be a good pickup

Jurevicius has amazing hands, but chances are he would like to stay with his SB team.
 
We do not need him this year, too many holes.

What and take Jeff Samardja in the 2nd round next year, same type of player - maybe better.

Isnt he that kid from Utah? If so he looks like a hell of a WR. But Id still love to get Jerevicious(sp). Id be first in line to buy his jersey.
 
Jury Vicious is a great receiver, and we could definitely use a No. 2 receiver, but I think that with all the holes that we have to fill, we will probably pass on bringing anyone into the receiver corps, except maybe to try to upgrade off Bradford.

Besides, I keep hoping for aTight End...
 
What about Teyo Johnson TE in FA and Mike Haas WR second day in the draft? I say we get a TE second day also, mainly David Thomas who reminds me of Chris Cooley.

I believe he's from Notre Dame.
 
hes from ND and its way too early to project where he will go in the draft next year, plus hes a hot shot mlb pitching prospect so who knows what he'll do

If what I am hearing comes to fruition, we might have a chance at Thomas. He is overlooked, IMO. Since there are a lot of elite TEs this year, he may fall to the second round. He would be a great pick. He was one of VY's favorite receivers. He has size, good hands, and a marauder's personality.

Since we have Dre and Jabar, I just don't think we will try to pick up somebody, in the draft or in Free Agency. That's not to say I wouldn't look forward to the day when Joe is playing for the Texans, though.
