Houston / UCF

The Coogs "D" is looking like their professional brethren in the Houston Texans. The only difference? This is UCF's third trip inside the 20 and have scored exactly 0 points, offensively... Their TD was a pick 6... I have a feeling they will score on this drive though.. And they did. X-tra point blocked though...

UCF 13 - Coogs 3

WOW!! Coogs did something that the Texans can't do... Get another stop. Although, they're still down 20-3....

:dontknowa

Piland to Edwards 33 yards for the TD.. X-tra point good. 20-10

Unfortunately, the Coogs left 3:10 on the clock for UCF.. Fortunately, the Coogs get the ball to start the second half.

So if you couldn't find it, and it was on The Deuce, where were you looking - Syfy? Food Network? :D

NORMALLY it's on some random channel, like CSTV - which we don't get - so I thought 'hey, I'll go to their website instead of searching through channels for 15 minutes."

Apparently U of H would rather risk my not watching the game on the off chance I'll pay to subscribe to CBS College Sports streaming video. Not good, maybe I should turn it back off, lol.

:spit: Right!! They get a kick-back for new CBSC subscriptions, thereby contributing funds to a new stadium!

I think the Coogs need a new defense, ditch the 3-4 and just play the 4-3. Pilland looks good at QB and I expect him to excell as he matures and get's used to the system.

:smiliepalm: --> Coogs, Texans, and Michigan defenses

They didn't get lucky... That play was called to get a play before Edwards catch could be reviewed....

Right! I fell out when I heard them say Houston got lucky. Time wasn't the big enemy they were making it out to be at that moment and they needed to keep the game going to keep the D winded. The review would have been upheld, but only after their defense got water and fresh horses for the men.

I'll cut them some slack I guess. It's hard to pay attention to the game when they have all those promo's, NBA split-screens, and cut-aways to keep track of.

Those all equal FAIL! As much as it hurts my heart, well except for Michigan (who cares?).. The Defense continues to suck!!

That said, Piland will be fine, he's true freshman... Broadway ain't so bad either... To lose Case and Cotton Turner in the same night really puts the program under pressure...

There's a good chance that Chase won't win his red-shirt appeal to the NCAA which is unfortunate. The Coogs gotta move forward with Piland and / or Broadway...

We'll see! And yet, they're still in the mix...

I'll be curious as to Gwallaia (Greg) opinion, as I have a 99% feeling he was at Robertson, tonight.. :D

Just got back home from the game.

Special teams are not so special and the defense is not very defensive, but the offense is promising.

I was at the game too and the only good thing I got out of it is that Piland looks like he will get this offense moving but he still makes quite a few bad throws. Pretty good for a freshman though.

Even though it's extremely painful to watch, I can't blame Sumlin for this season. Having 2 out of your 3 QB's go down for the whole season within the first few weeks of the season will break a team.

**** I HAD SO MUCH HOPE FOR THIS YEAR :mariopalm:
