It's like Schaub and Keenum all over again. And in reality, with this O-line I'm not sure how good an elite QB would look anyway.
 
Why did Bill have Fitz thrown in Giants territory?? Twice. Just run the ball n hope we can stop em and we go 7-0 into the half

Bad coaching at the end of the half
 
If O'Brien sends Fitz back out in the 2nd half, this game is over. Might be over, anyway. If Fitz doesn't have Foster to feed 25+ a game, he can't move the team.

When it was 7-0, frankly, I was thinking that we should kill the clock, get on our knees and be thankful for going into the locker room down by only 7, and make adjustments at halftime. This team is not built for two-minute heroics, clearly.

Exactly. With Foster in there Fitz could be a "game manager" like he was in Oakland. Without Foster, not so much.

If we are having to rely on Fitz to win the game we are screwed against any team. We have to get the running game going. I'd like them to take shots down the field again and hopefully a stupid penalty won't nullify it.

Short passes don't make sense to me when Fitzy's arm is too weak. 10 yards outs to the sideline are coming in too slowly to be safe throws

Well it sure would've been nice to get Blue the fricking ball but idk wtf he did to have old ass brown be run out there to give up a whole possession.
 
Hope they leave Fitzpatrick in and let's see just how bad it gets. Never should have picked up the punt returner from waivers Damaric Johnson and Brown needs to be gone too.
 
You roll Mallet out in the second half, stick with Blue (Grimes is JAG, Brown is JAOG) and see if you get a spark. The Shitzpatrick train has run its course.

That's what I'd be doing. I'm not coaching the Texans and nobody is knocking on my door to get my opinion on how they should run their team so I know it's just a fan's approach.

I still think it's time to sit this guy down behind someone better where he belongs. Fitzpatrick (and that's the last time I'll refer to him by his real name) is a backup QB and will never be anything more.

Lets see if Mallet is one too.
