Good run by Foster. Then nothing. Looks like they are back to their live and die by Foster offense, although those behind the line of scrimmage passes to Andre are as effective as they've always been. :rolleyes:

So, can they only run a pro offense if Foster is off the field?

The problem with fitz continues. Cannot read a field. I'm so sad Mallett is hurt
 
Mercilus makes the play to bring up fourth down, but pissed he didn't get the sack.

The Texans have more talent than the Jags. He'd have played better here.

There are plenty of teams that wouldn't have taken Clowney #1, imo (backed by historic trends).

& no one would have taken Jj Watt in the top 5.... I bet they would now.

I don't think much of Bortles, but he's playing well today, doing what you'd want a seasoned QB to do. Look off coverage, go through progressions, call protection, call audibles, keeping plays alive & throwing pretty danged accurately on the move.


But, we've got to get in his grille. He's been pretty much untouched so far.
 
And that is why you don't see OB let Fitz throw over the middle much. He will get people killed with those late throws.

I'm not in favor of putting skirts on players (theirs OR ours). I'm also cognizant that Dre was bent rather low. At some point you have to let them play. Fans often get accused of "you wouldn't feel that way if it was YOUR player". I'm honest either way.
