Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars. 11/27. 12 CT. CBS. **Official GameDay Thread**

Please ML, just chuck a couple deep so the safeties will respect the possibility of the deep ball.

The Bengals are on crack. Jon Joseph never even wanted to leave Cincy, and they probably could have made him a decent offer and kept him. Instead, they made him no offer and he walked. Idiots.

Kubiak better come up with something better than that...Jags are doing nothing but keying of Foster

Nope. AJ was open.

CB was turned around, committed to the short area of the field rather than breaking on AJ. He made a choice and he wasn't going to be able to recover.

I re-watched it.

they just broke down that play, when the ball was in the air there were 2 defenders surrounding AJ. He was NOT open. Once the ball was caught, the defenders left AJ and went to the ball.

You need to Re-re-watch it with both eyes open:vincepalm:

so you're saying that if Leinarts throws the ball high to the back of the end zone (think fade route), AJ wouldn't have won the battle for the ball?

Yep, corner endzone, that's AJ's ball. I'll take what we got over a sack any day though.

Second great open field tackle by KJ... with all his deficencies in coverage (which he cut down greatly this year), he is a monster tackler - maybe the best we have on the team (or second to Neil Rackers ;-)

These are the same people who routinely call us the Oilers, mis-pronounce our players' names, and on and on and on....

The CB committed to turning back UP the field. ObsiWan and I rarely agree, and even HE saw the same thing I did--A ball put into the corner of the end zone was going to be a pretty good bet with Andre Johnson and a CB who had over-committed on the shorter route by Dreessen.
