The problem with you fans is that you're making posts just to make posts. It's simply not bright. No, Schaub is not being benched regardless of how poor he's playing lately when the team he's playing for needs a win to lock up the #1 seed in their conference.

Just stop saying things just to say them. It's pointless. Good grief.

You are right about how bad the Texans suck, but the calls made by these refs today have cost us BIG and are extremely suspect in that they are some of the worst calls I seen in my life.

I agree with the calls.

They are horrible.

Colts have one penalty against them. According to the refs they can do no wrong. That fumble call was a game changer, with review there is no way they should have called that.

Texans are still a level or two better than the Colts though. They should be wiping the floor with these guys no matter what stadium it is at.
 
The offense has crapped the bed and is rolling around in it AGAIN. Most balanced offense my ass.

With this head coach, you're right: It doesn't happen.

Which is why I put Kubiak and Schaub (and now Dennison, too) into the same camp. They have teamed up to really kill this team in the second half of the season. All three of them are participating in a baffling "pussing out" effort.

I'm saddened for you that you think we are not allowed to at least try to get Matt's mind right. Sitting down for the first half, would it have been any worse than what we got with Matt in there this half?

What did we gain by trusting Matt right out of the gate? He's off his game, and he's PUSHING too hard. He needed a break, a chance to watch and take a breath.
 
I know it's difficult, especially compared to what we're asking them to do.

But we've got to keep it together for 60 minutes. 1 heart, 1 team.... let's not give up.

We've got to believe. We've got to support. We've got to root for this team to win for 60 minutes.

I blame the refs when they need to be blamed. I blame Kubiak when he needs to be blamed. I blame Schaub when he needs to be blamed.

I've done all three in this VERY thread.

Ehh...people (including myself) were rooting for harris to get some time over mccain...a few weeks later we see why harris hasnt been playing. Its always convient to call for the guy that you dont see...until u see him and u figure out why he hasnt been playing.

If you knew half the people here you know we are die hards.....but sometimes you gotta face reality man, this is pathetic. I'm not gonna give myself the magic finger and act like everything is great over this swirling turd performance so far this game and the last few games.
 
Matt's is getting beat up, what about the 35 off sides penalties, maybe wade can tell thhe front seven to wait for the ball to be snapped.

Well, I'm going to reply if I think it's stupid. Isn't THAT the point of a message board? Not going to let the average stupidity of football fans sink to NBA-fan levels.
 
This offense needs to get it's **** together. I hate to say it but I wouldn't mind benching Schaub. Yates might give the offense a spark. Probably won't happen but something has to change. 0 TD in 8+ quarters is insane. Even Arizona isn't that inept.

The next progression, though, is that I WANTED to be right.

That I just "HAD" to be right.

That I NEEDED to be right.

That I enjoy this.

That's the next step for characterless posters. No, it wasn't enough that they were wrong and I was right...now it will be that I'm "pathetic" because I'm pointing it out to them.

Well, I took a beating with a rubber hose last week, I knew damn well I was right, and by gawd I'm going to stand up and point to the bruises and say "I told you so."

I hate this. HATE it. I was a fan for the Oilers-Bills playoff debacle. I have been following football a long time. I know buckling and pussing out when I see it. Refs? Pagano's story? Who gives a ****!?!? This team, even if we faced a pee-wee league defense...couldn't get a TD with Kubiak/Dennison/Schaub operating like they are operating lately.
 
Texans can still win. They need to be +2 on turn overs and score TD's. Maybe we get lucky and they pull starters but even if that happens if we don't win turnover battle we may still lose.

The problem is any early mistakes and Texans close to dead because with Schaub's lack of mobility he will not be able to do anything.
 
holy crap is the zombie apocalypse here? everyone is freaking out! Where do I go? How do I get there?! Arrrghhhhh
 
Schaub is the best option we have, Yates isn't close and I'm not sure how any can suggest we put the second year guy in that hasn't even looked decent this year.


Schaub might need a strength coach to put a few more yards on his throws
