A good quarterback could make a piss poor O-Line look good. Aaron Rodgers has led Green Bay to the playoffs many times before with an average to below average O-Line. The one year Rodgers won the Super Bowl the Packers had a bad O-Line and several players on IR. 17 or 18 total guys I think it was. They also had their starting running back out.

comparing Aaron Rodgers to a 4th round pick's first NFL game...sweet.
 
I think the refs are so enthralled with JJ Watt and protecting Luck that they don't see anyone else on the field.

Crick got tackled on that last 3rd and 4.

The NFL needs a point of emphasis on the point when the defender passes the Lineman, when the start pulling down on the defender.

I ***** about threes too much, but the holding is obscene, certain teams get a free pass.

I'd start Savage against Baltimore and Jacksonville to see what he can do with time to prepare as a starter.
 
We don't need receivers as much as we need consistent quarterback play. I've seen Tom Savage make two beautiful throws in this game. A 34-yard pass to Hopkins right before halftime and another nice gain to DeVier Posey a few plays ago. If Savage has a nice deep arm we can make it work with more consistency. Please a TD drive here. We need to tie this game up.

And oh yeah, we could use a tight end who can catch a freakin' pass!!!!
 
If you read this thread from the beginning you would think we were down 31-0.

I don't think our guys are getting enough credit for the fight they're showing today. We're still in this thing somehow.

We could bring Watt in to play tight end if we get inside the red zone and closer to the goal line. Another TD catch, along with coming back to win this game. would help his MVP credentials.
 
Getting an offense in synch is like tuning a car engine. Just because there are some misfires doesn't mean the engine is crap. People need to learn patience.
 
Savage kind of looks like Rodgers when he throws the ball. Not saying he is anything like Rodgers but just reminds me of his delivery. He can throw a ball 40 yyards and make it look like a touch pass.
