Houston Texans @ Detroit Lions. 11:30. 11/22. **Official Thanksgiving Day Thread**

Another overtime nailbiter, time to see if the Texans are truly what we hope they are, a team that finds ways to win close games instead of losing them. We pull this off, I feel much more comfortable going forward.

At this point I hope OT. 2nd thought was I'm happy Houston just went 97 yards to get here at this moment.

That's a stupid risk to take.

No it's not. You need a TD to tie. Td's are not a given in the NFL. You take them when you can get them most times.

We don't want to go into a consecutive OT game on the road on a short week.

What you're saying makes 0 sense anyways. What dis you want? For them to waste 1 min and 30 seconds?

Wow, could we have a shot before OT?
No because now Kubiak is going to run it out as he should. If they would've ran the clock down earlier the Lions never would've been close to range and we wouldn't have to run it twice to make sure they don't get a safety.

What are you talking about?

You sound ridiculous.
Are you illiterate? My point is pretty obvious. You thought they could get the ball back and have a shot to win the game in regulation. This is what generally happens in that situation, and as you can see Houston had no chance at that. I said they should've taken more time off the clock.
