I can somewhat forgive Yates. Not that the INT wasn't his fault, but he's a rookie going up against this Ravens D. I wasn't expecting him to have a cozy day. I was expecting mistakes.

I can't forgive Jacoby. He's a veteran. He's returned punts since his rookie season. Yet he still can't get it right. No excuses for that ****.
 
A lot of y'all need to stop being Texans Fans because you have already counted this team out of the game and the 2nd Quarter just started.

I am not too irritated with the Yates int. Good qbs throw them. Brees throws them. I am irritated with jj. Good returnees never do that stuff. He gave the ravens the ball inside the 5. That is inexcusable.
 
Nice protection and pass...we need to involve our TEs a lil more, I don't think no one on Ravens matches up with Daniels, Casey nor Dreesen.
AJ Stretching + Foster holding LBs = TEs all day

True man. If this is how TT is imploding imagine the bars full of bandwagoners.

Anybody who has watched the Texans in franchise history knows that anything can, and most probably will happen.

So far, the D has been great, Arian is running well, Rackers kicked well and our kick return game has been productive. Silly mistakes have put us behind so far, not our overall play.
 
Walter's drops already have TJ doubting him. Come on Texans, loosen up and play Texans ball! Let's go defense! Flip the field for us!
 
Don't need a "better fan" thread, this is the gameday thread. We have enough of the other. It's just frustration - it'll pass.

17-6 .... we need to start playing for TD's coach.

Nobody is "imploding". We're discussing a football game and there has been nothing but bonehead "shoot self in foot" plays... Guess what, when that happens the football discussion isn't going to be very positive.

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with being a good fan or not... people are just talking about what they're watching on T.V.
 
This is our chance to regain field position, 3 & out now followed by a TD drive will put us back into contention.

You think we should score a TD every possession?

Our defense have not let a long drive down the field for a TD yet - they've been great. As long as our offense plays turnover free football, and our special teams makes no more boobs, we'll only need one, or two TDs max in the game.
 
I thought Rackers was the guy we couldn't trust to get a job done.

I never would have suspected it would be Jacoby who cratered in a key moment.

Rackers 3 for 3. Our only points have been off his right foot.

This. Nobody criticizing the Texans here is quitting as a fan. It's just discussing the reality of the situation at the moment. Hopefully that reality gets better for us.

We all want the same thing man. All I'm saying is that most of the regulars here know the game well enough to know that the reason we are down 2 scores is a poor INT, and an unforgivable muffed punt. We are not being outplayed. The 'that play just cost us the game' type comments are off the mark. This game has barely gotten started.

If the Ravens had marched 90 yards twice for TDs, and we were giving up huge yardage, then I'd be more pessimistic.
