I just don't see Mallett leading us to a Super Bowl so what's the point sticking with him? We could start over and rebuild the entire offense - truth be told we need to find Arian Foster and Duane Brown's replacement relatively soon - and probably be in better shape sooner rather than later.

I don't like George Godsey as the offensive coordinator.
Bill O'Brien's "buddy buddy friendship" with him is crazy.
He's not getting the job done with his Mickey Mouse play calling.

I think BoB needs to take over play calling. Short of trading for someone's backup QB I don't really see what options we have at QB. Hoyer and Mallett are showing they are not the long term answer. I think the long term answer is to fire Rick Smith at the end of the season bring in someone else and give BoB an ultimatum for next year. I am not done with him yet but this team is so bereft of talent that I don't think it matters who coaches.

It is all McNair/Smith/BOB master decision skills that have gotten us Mallett/Hoyer as our choices for QB. WTF. Wake up McNair you don't have any clothes on. I refuse to believe you don't care about putting a competitive field on the team, but based on all your decisions everything points to you not really caring as long as you make money.
Teflon Rick needs to go. BOB has no clue as to what it takes to be a QB in the NFL. Mallett is in panic mode hours before the game starts and builds from there. He is not a rookie so don't expect his accuracy to get any better. Hoyer may have the mind and calmness but none of the physical attributes necessary to be a successful NFL QB.
Oh yeah. TAKE FOSTER OUT NOW.

Saw the game vs Texas and I'm fine with him. Seemed to have nice touch and accuracy. Would seem to fit this ten yard box that our O plays in

I think Mallett's leash is getting tight. But who do we go to? Hoyer and Mallett maybe the two worst QBs in the NFL. Do we need to sign someone's practice squad player? Trade for a backup? I don't think there's a good answer at this point. We also just have so many holes in offense that I think this team needs to be completely rebuilt.

I worked late last night so I started watching the game late. I saw the score (28-0) and at first I was like...

Going for 5-0 on Thursday Night. ESPN2 Game. I may also watch the Houston Cougars football game against SMU instead of the Texans versus Colts. At least we have a quality football team to be proud of here in Houston. Tom Herman has those kids playing good football. I would like to attend the game but sitll dealing with the flu and a nasty cough.
 
Surprised Mallett didn't throw that one at Mumphery's feet to "protect" him. Great catch in traffic.
 
Indy is smart to sit Luck and save him for Thursday night game. Texans are the Texans and keep Foster in when game is out of reach.
 
Nice throw low and behind Foster on fourth down. Could have led him upfield where there were no defenders but probably wanted to "protect" him and throw it right where the defender was.

But Jacksonville is probably more of a threat to Indy winning the division than Houston.
