It's probably a lot easier to get better quicker with a really good quarterback though- something we've never had...and no, Matt Schaub was never "really good" for an extended period of time

Should I make the game thread for Thursday Night against the Colts on Thursday morning? We've been losing with Shark making them. I've never made one before and we need a change if we expect to win.
 
ATL's Alford shoulda just piggy backed onto the receiver, was pretty much there anyway

He was "really good" until Albert Haynesworth broke him. But let's not go down that discussion again.
 
I will say that Kevin Johnson looks good. He seems to be on his guy almost every throw. He'll be good going forward

Which is why I want him to play every snap. He's our best cover corner and is only going to improve. Very high ceiling. Deion Sanders said that Kevin Johnson could become the best cover corner in the game in a few years. He gave him some high praise on NFL Gameday earlier.
 
We're actually getting to Ryan pretty quickly with our pressure. The problem has been that our coverage is so soft that he doesn't need hardly any time at all to find an open receiver.
 
Bring pressure but leave the middle wide open. Sneaky bastards. We're just trying to tire them out so we can KO them in the second half. Sound strategy!
 
Our defense looks very good until it gives up a very very big play. Completely wide open receivers are ridiculous.
 
Bouye is garbage. Kareem is getting burned every play.

Our safeties are the worst in the NFL...

Kevin Johnson is our only player in the secondary earning his money today.

I wish we could clone Kevin Johnson four or five times.
 
One thing that I like about this crappy ass new board layout is that ignoring someone is as simple as two clicks now.
 
I guess our colleges coaching staff has never seen a back run out of the backfield and catch a pass down the sideline :thud:
 
LOL, this is fun. Atlanta is doing to the Texans what Alabama did to Georgia yesterday so this is making my weekend pretty good after all.
 
I'm getting awful damned tired of watching the Texans be a crappy team. It's wearisome to say the least.
 
I can understand playing off the receiver and not bumping at the line when you are playing the large field... but I really can't understand not being in their face on the goal line. If anyone would have bumped Henderson (?) on that TD throw Ryan would have had to pull it down, then who knows what happens.
