Houston / Cincinnati Pre-Game

HOUSTON (0-2) vs. CINCINNATI (3-0)

Paul Brown Stadium - Cincinnati, OH.

Sunday October 2, 2005

The struggling Texans will go up against the red hot Bengals From Cincinnati. This features the 2002 First Round Pick David Carr for Houston, and the 2003 first round pick Carson Palmer for Cincinnati.

Carson Palmer is 69 for 97, with 8 TD's and 2 INTs.

David Carr is 25 for 47, with 1 TD and 3 INTs.[/COLOR]

Keys to game For Houston:

-protect David Carr, give him time to read the field and throw

-tight coverage on defense

-reduce amount of penalties.

MY PREDICTION:

Cincinnati 36
Houston 28

BUT GO TEXANS

I don't see us scoring 36, more like between 24 and 27

And I don't see Houston scoring 28. More like between 0 and 7.

:yahoo: Should be a heck of a good time though! WHO DEY !!!!!

Enough with the WHO DEY hogwash. The rest of the leage will be saying the same thing about the Bengals at the end of the season.

I'm eager to see Odell Thurman. He's been a beast for them thus far, and I'm interested to see him play for more than a highlight clip on ESPN.

If you watch the game following nothing but #51 - you won't be dissapointed.

Earlier Rod Woodson said on NFL Network he thinks Thurman was the best defensive player drafted in the past draft, from what he has seen so far anyway...

What do you expect, he went to school at Georgia. The SEC is the baddest conference in the good ole USA!!
