The Browns, Colts and Packers aren't necessarily teams that are use to playing in heat, yet they were able to beat the Texans last year.
The heat may effect the outcome of the game, but I doubt that it will be a noticeable advantage that the Texans will be able to use to win the game.
We're talking about late summer heat (mainly noon games in September) being the factor here and in places like Miami.
Chargers game, September 12, 90 something degrees outside - roof closed for fan comfort - weather a non factor.
Packers game, November 21, night game. Roof closed because it rained 4 hours before game time. weather a non factor.
Colts game, December 12, 68 degrees roof open - weather a non-factor.
Browns game, January 2 - 72 degrees - roof closed for some wussy reason I can't remember. Must have been raining in Lubbock.
