Holy God! Draft A Wide Receiver

My god how many passes is AJ going to drop this season??

With Gaffney, Bradford and AJ dropping passes, tell me again why Armstrong does not play?

Earlier in the year, AJ was dropping balls a fair bit too. This is at least the second sure-fire TD he's dropped this year. It's very frustrating, when he's supposed to be our best offensive player.

:texflag: Who do you think the rest of the NFL would take first in a fire sale Carr or AJ ? I'm betting that in a landslide they take AJ.

Just to many dropped passes throughout this franchise. Add in horrible play calling and more sacks than at a brand new Grocery store and it equals out to a BAD, VERY BAD football team.

AJ dropping the ball is just a part of what the season has been like for this team. That was the difference maker to me, today.

I'm gonna say it. I know UT and USC would whoop the Texans if they were the next 2 games. :brickwall :hairpull:

Every Receiver drops passes. Most people on this board compare AJ's physical talents to a T.O. TO drops a decent amount of balls, you just hope that his big plays are more than his drops, unfortunately we do not call many big plays.

I expect Bradford to drop passes, and I expect AJ to drop passes just make more plays than what his drops cost us. He cost us big in this one, but it is just one of the many things that happens to a losing team. Gaffney and Armstrong looked solid and did not have many drops, it is just ashame they do not have the speed to consistently get open.

There is a reason we are 1-11 and dropped passes are part of it. We are just flat playing badly. Even our good players are screwing the pooch. Thing like that happen when your having a really bad year. Everything seems to go wrong.

And of course . . . "the playcalling was horrible!"
:sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

Some of you couldn't tell the difference between good and bad playcalling if one was red and other blue.

Is it Armstrongs speed that keeps him out of the starting line up? The guy is like a vacuum out there, pulling in anything his way.

It was obviously the rotation of the ball off of Carr's throw.

That ball needed to be caught, no excuse.

That's just it, though. So many people are willing to make excuses for him. I'm not agreeing with the title of the post, as I think we could have a decent WR corps for years to come, but D@mn! Catch the ball!
