I watched Fergie last year and couldn't get any higher ( seats that is ) from the stage . I could unscrew the lightbulbs from the ceiling but I swear Fergie was giving me the sexy eyes cause she felt my aura .

Every year I have gone, I have sat up high and down low. The sound in the upper level is MUCH better than that in the lower level. I would rather sit in the upper levels and use the binoculars or just watch the screen instead.

A few years ago we had some General Contractors in visiting from Maryland. One of them was this cute chick but she was from New York. Anyway we took them to see Bon Jovi
. During the team calf roping one of the calves came up gimpy. She was all upset and dogging Texans for this inhumane display that we call Rodeo. I told her not to worry, that that calf would be on my plate within the hour.

Rodeo tickets are for sale through the ticket sales committee in season ticket format only, they have mini season tickets and season tickets but if you want single tickets you must go to ticket master or buy from someone else. You can report the people who mark your tickets up and for someone to do that is just wrong. The rodeo is a charity event and those tickets should not be scalped period.
I have a good friend who is a lifetime committee member and is on the ticket sales committee if you need to get season tickets give me a call and I will get you hooked up but you better hurry cause they have a cuttoff date and I do not know when that is.

I love the Rodeo, but only really get excited about a few of the actual rodeo events.
Bull Riding doesn't really excite me. Its sort of like car racing, where the crowd is almost hoping for an injury. Seems strange. Plus, when I found out what the flank strap is tied around....ouch
That being said, I do like watching the bronco riding. It just seems more difficult than bull riding, but not as dangerous. I guess its less exciting for some bc the bull riders can die every time they get out there, but I think it takes more skill
Barrel racing is sort of fun, but goes too quickly
I do love the calf scramble. Something hillarious to me about a bunch of kids running around trying to tie up and move a calf back to the middle. Theres always that one fat kid with the one fat calf, and the calf is stubborn as heck, and the kid can't get it back. Hillarious
In San Antonio, they have the best event of all. Mutton Busting. Not sure if its been brought to Houston yet. Basically, a bunch of kids aged 3-5 are put on the back of a sheep. The sheep are then slapped or scared in some way, and whoever stays on the longest wins. I've never watched that without laughing. The idea of slapping a little kid on the back of a sheep and then watching the fracas that ensues is just too priceless to explain

no one has a code ? Why the hell do we get tickets for every junk thing that happens at relient and the one thing that is actually decent we can't get tickets for. Now I'll have to spend all day tommorow on the phone with ticket master to get tickets to a show that is probably going to be "sold out" by the time it gets to me.
