High on P-Buc!!!

i say PB does a lot of what DROB did last year, go against AJ a lot during the year, let PB get used to playing against high talented WRs, i think that had a lot to do with DRobs progression too. you go to practice and compete against such a great specimen of a WR in AJ, then go out on Sundays and play against receivers that dont have AJ's talent, and it makes it a lot easier for DRob. so i say with Hoke's coaching, and maybe some time going up against AJ, PB can get on the right track

Several of the Raider's fans have come here and let us know that PB hasn't played well. I got that. I think you would be hard pressed to find many people that don't think he has the physical tools to be a good to great CB. I think the difference is that the Raiders view him as a lost cause, and the Texans think they can fix the mental aspects of his game.

There is no doubt in my mind that he has been lit up like a Christmas tree over the past 2-3 years. I just don't expect that to be the norm for us. Call it confidence/arrogance or whatever, but I think PB will get the coaching he didn't in Oakland.

However the problem in Oakland wasn't about technique. It was about breaking the scheme for picks. Tackling like it's 2 hand touch.

That's attitude not coaching & the Texans committed 2 picks to gamble on that.

“I came here to do one thing, and that’s to help us win,” Buchanon said. “I am very confident in what I do. I just want to go out and help my team and score touchdowns and do whatever I can do, punt return, anything. So it doesn’t matter. As long as we get a ‘W’ I am fine with it.”

I'm sensing a new, refreshing attitude from Phil ever since he joined the Texans

I'm sensing a new PR strategy.

I hope he does good for you, but Buchannon is only talking until he backs it up on the field

^^He was on Texans cam today on NFL Network and he was telling Rich Eisen and Rich Gannon that he has a fresh start here in Houston, and that Oakland was a learning curve for him, and he would like to put all of that stuff he did in Oakland behind him. He just want's to make plays and score touchdowns for his new team and I believe him, even though some people might not. I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt, because if he lives up to the Texans expectations, we will have one of the best young CB tandems in the NFL.

after meeting, drinking, and hanging out with Buchanon, i have become a big fan and am now in his corner. He is a great guy and is bigger than woodson, maybe not taller, but bigger and that surpirsed me

their bio's suggest something different.

i guess the word bigger can be subjective. however woodson displaces more water. LOL!!!!!

Buchanon seems to be enjoying himself here and I think the change of scenery will do him good...

Here's the footage of his appearance on NFL Total Access, if anybody is interested...
