A good place to start would be looking at the end of season point rankings from last year (making sure your point structure, with points for receptions, TDs etc are the same). From there you'll at least have an idea of what kind of performance will translate well into fantasy points (i.e. a QB for a playoff team, like Flacco may not necessarily be an automatic good fantasy QB, where someone like Cam Newton will be a lot more valuable).
From there you can start weighing in rookies, players who had injuries last year, and who you think is going to step up next year.
